So I changed Calculator's math skill to 41 All Magic and it seems to work. The only issue I'm having is that all skills in there are always already learned. I havent done much testing but is this normal or did I just miss a step? If it is normal, is there an easy work around in FFTpatcher (not hacking)? Thanks.

EDIT: Moving all the skills down like 6 slots seemed to fix this.

Search around, this is a known bug, and like 100 other topics have been created on it... we shouldve stickied the last one but zodiac is to lazy :P

If you change a generic job's skillset to something, anything, itl mess up.

If you change Chemist, Ninja, Lancer, Geomancer, or samurai's ACTION MENUS to default, it will bug.

Archer will bug to, but only with the AI... If you use an ability then move, it cancels, but if you move first, its fine... only a problem with the AI, as it doesnt recognize you have to do this...

Yeah, if there was a sticky with this info, I probably wouldn't have made this post (I for one actually read stickies!). Another possible bug, on Terminate 4's ENTD, I think only the first 5 slots seem to generate enemies? I've created enemies on the later half put them on Always Present and double checked that everything was right and they wouldn't appear. Of course I could've just messed up somewhere as well.

Make sure that their x,y coordinates are the same, if two enemies have the same coordinates, it spawns the first, and skips the second completly... so they dont make it spawn elsewhere on the map >.< which is annoying

Actually, I think someone tested skill set changes with generics a little while ago and was able to swap with no problem. The thing is I think they just swapped generic sets with generic sets. I'll do a little testing of my own and see what happens. ^_^

Oh yeah, I've made sure the coordinates don't overlap, they are all the default values so I dunno whats up with that. In fact I left most values as the default, only changing sprite, job, level, jobs unlocked, equipment, and skills. I don't know what most of the others do so I mostly leave them alone.

If the default coordinates are still in place, there's definitely multiple units with the same coordinates.   Most of the random battles (including Terminate 4, i checked) have units set up that way.  Change their coordinates to something that isn't being used, and they'll start showing up.

Wow you're right, I dunno how I missed them, there are definitely some overlaping values.
