I gave the wii mote controls for about 6 hours and then gave up. I would make mistakes all the time in even the most mundane things. It isn't even that you need to shake it really, it is more that how the controller is rotated affects what kind of swing you do. Oh and as far as I can tell the bowguns and what not don't even use IR controls.

I use the old school PS2 controls and those make me very happy. The only problem is that underwater controls are really hard because you steer yourself with the camera controls! It works out though I suppose.

Still a great game. I am about half way through the 4 star quests and have only put like a dozen hours in with no english translation. I am just getting a feel for the game and then looking forward to the US release for online play. That is what the game is all about anyways.

Well, Monster Hunter's been hard with controls ever since it got its first PSP release.

I'm only used to 'The Claw' hand formation thanks to Matrix Path of Neo.

I've been busy hacking super mario world again. I've almost got a demo ready (~2 weeks); I think I'll make a topic in spam about it when I'm ready to show it off.

FFT hacking is next on my list of projects after SMW. I'll get that Miluda sprite done someday :P

I play wit ha nunchuck. Dont ever swing the wii mote and i have no camera problems at all. You can also play with a nintendo classic controller. i've heard from some of the guys over at the MH3 forums that it works well.

BTW, if you want ot play online, you have to do a few outrageous things...but once you do them once, its not hard to switch back and forth between your english and japanese settings. There are some guides around, and MH3 even ahs a server specifically for U.S. players to come hang and play.

The site forum is http://forums.minegarde.com/index.php?s ... howforum=2 im pretty sure i remember having to register first, but i cant honestly be to sure.

NA version of Dissidia. I haven't gotten the chance to really get into until today. I'm buying the retail copy tomorrow though.

Wait, you bought the NA version but will get the retail copy tomorrow? What do you mean? Surely an imported North America one counts as a retail copy?

In other words, I downloaded it and I'll be buying the physical game tomorrow.

Ah, gotcha.

I'll be glad when tomorrow arrives. I lost my 4GB memory stick and I'd rather have several games/apps on my 2GB than just one game eating up more than half of the available space on it.

Yea I have just enough money to get it. Might acquire a copy and check out the voice acting though.

Wild ARMs 1 on the PSP.  One of the guardian summons causes a freeze of my entire PSP every time, and I don't know about the other ones.  It's pretty annoying.  Otherwise it has been an ok game.  Not one of the ones I'd really recommend, but it isn't bad.  There's a pretty big lack of challenge so far, but I'm not that far into it yet.

It gets alot harder once you get the golem cehicle-thing, and it takes naother difficulty leap when you get the shuttle(if you dont go do all the extra content, like the extra stuff in the arena)

Its a very good game, considering it was released a year before ff7. so its script has about the same capacity. only wild arms is better and easier to understand.

Wild Arms 2 is about 40x better though :)

Finally finished Megaman Star Force 3...

I have tons of games I could hit next...

I'm thinking Etrian Odessey or some other non square RPG. Any suggestions?

@Sentinal: I've neither played the original, have the disc, or can get CFW. However I'd gladly get it off the PSN store.

@ Vanya: I'd highly recommend games by Atlus, namely the SMTs and Odin Sphere.

I'll be borrowing MGS4 off my friend soon, I've managed to last since its original release without spoiling the plot but I want to complete it before Peace Walker plot details get thrown around. Should take me about a month at an hour a day. Took my friend 22 hours on his first play, 5 on the second, mostly because the play time counter keeps going DURING CUTSCENES.

Yes, Wild ARMs 1 and 2 are in the PSN store.  2 was released on it only just recently I think...  1 has been there for months at least.  It was the release of 2 that finally convinced me to go ahead and get 1.

I have both the original Wild Arms 1 & 2. Never really liked 2 but its a quality game.

Playing Metriod Prime Trilogy, Batman: Arkham Asylum, and Dissidia.
