N00b PSP [HELP]

hey guys, i recently bought a psp go just for this game, impulse buy after reminiscing about the old psx game....

anyways i have a hacked 6.35 Psp go, with prometheus iso loader (back-up purposes, of course)
i tried reading some of the tutorials but they still are a bit confusing, especially when some, if not, all of the links are not working....

i downloaded the FFTPatcher, et al, from the miscellaneous downloads on the main page but thats as far as i can go...

im mainly interested in swapping the chapter 4 Ramza sprite and cloud sprite with one of the sprites i found in the forum..can anyone please help put....

also..the two sprite swaps i want to make are in different files, one is a (.spr) file while the other is a (.bmp or is it .png)....would that be a problem..

I'm going to assume you have FFT: WoTL.

ShiShi Sprite Editor only takes .spr files and .bmp

So I shall tell you Step by Step how to do this task you want.

Instructions

Tools needed.

• Shishi Sprite Editor 0.478 (get here: http://www.ffhacktics.com/downloads.php?id=31)


• The sprites you want in the game.


• A FFT game image on your computer. (.img, .bin, etc..)


• Computer with all of the above on it.


• PsP

How To

• Open Shishi Sprite Editor


• In Shishi Sprite Editor, click the file button on the top left corner of the program.

A menu will pop down.

• Click open Iso.

A pop up window appears.

• Navigate through your computer, until you find the FFT game image.


• double click the file when you have found it.

The program should load the Image with no problem and look like this:

Basically what you do now is pick the character you wants sprite to change.
The button that says; 00 - Ramza Chapter One
When you have picked the one you want,

• click the button on the top of the program. The "Sprite" Button.

Then a little menu will roll down

• click either; Import BMP, or SPR. Depends on what you have.

Shishi Sprite Editor should change the sprite without trouble.

When you are done changing the sprites you need.
Close the program.
IT SAVES AUTOMATICALLY
