Thank you for your support! I have no estimated Official release date, but I will have a playable demo out on Christmas Day.

Eh heh... probably the complete version of Mercenaries won't be out for quite some time, a year or  two, progress on events is the main factor, which is why I'm getting the mechanics out of the way now, so it won't make problems later.

I was an idiot and tried to patch the alpha to the psp version of the iso now i have to rip the psx version.  Such a drag (but worth it)

Dunno if this is the right thread to ask this but is this game gonna have uber weapons, accesories, and armor or are you completly avoiding them to make the game harder?
By uber I mean weapons like the Chaos Blade or an armor that protects against all status aliments and give auto regen, raise, haste, etc. or the Ribbon, Perfume (whatever it was called) accesories

Also what are your ideas for guest characters? (Balthier, Cloud, Luso, Sephiroth, Ritz, Tifa) I ask only for the sprites I've seen
