Altering Existing Jobs and Sprites

I've been playing 1.3 and having fun and now I'd like to add job classes for Funeral and Balmalfula giving them Astrologist and Arc Knight (Destroy Sword) or at least classes with those abilities , respectively since they work in the menu and in the battle field. I'd also like to alter Galaxy Stop to have an mp cost and target self as well, but I think I can mange that. I just wanted to know with little to no experience with game alteration how much trouble I was setting myself up for.

Just remember that some of the sprites aren't fully done so they may not have all of their animations. Other than that what you want to do is fairly easy and simple to do with the FFTPatcher.

Thanks, I had finals this week so I didn't get a chance to check, but now I've got time to do it, so cool.
