Previously on Super Idol Ryqo-Ry's Happy Bouncy Love Smile Theater: Roll to Dodge Edition:

Ryqoshay twirled in the air as streaks of energy engulfed her. A purple, high-collared coat materialized around her idol attire and was quickly matched by a tall tophat with a pretty white bow around its base. "Go-Go-Love-Ryqo Magnifying Glass!" she proclaimed as the energy dissipated and she came to a halt. Obeying her command, the top of the hat opened to allow a mechanized arm to reach out and hand her the requested tool. As she inspected the situation it became clear that while a Love Cannon had indeed been fired, what she had actually heard had been the bark of a massive dog. Frowning, she stuck a pinky in her ear to clean out whatever gunk had apparently disrupted her otherwise keen senses.

The dog growled and leaped at the girl. For a moment, it seemed as though time had slowed for her as she discerned the beast's trajectory and performed a shoulder sliding dodge to the side. It returned to normal speed and she kipped back up to her feet. "Ah ah ah!" she waggled a finger at the angry hound. "That wasn't very nice Mr. Poochy! What say we change that attitude of yours?" Pressing two fingers to her lips, she winked and blew a kiss. "Chu~"

The hairs on the dog's neck flattened and its ears perked up as it stopped growling and began to wag its tail. After a moment, it lowered its head and shoulders as if bowing. "Milady, forgive my rudeness. I am known as Concourt, the Eponymous Valiant Guard, Prince of the Canines Lupin."

"Nya ha!" Ryqo laughed. "Milady sounds too formal! Call my Ryqo-Ry!" She pointed to herself and grinned.

"Very well, Ryqo, you may refer to me as Concourt." the royal canine bowed lower. "Climb upon my back and allow me the honor of escorting you to your destination."

And now on to today's episode:

"Hai~!" the Ryqo cheers and jumps onto her new mount. Immediately, she begins to scratch him behind his ears. "Onward!" She points with her free hand. "Let's go find that Love Cannon and whoever fired it!"

The Love Cannon had returned to its natural habitat and as such was no longer with the individual who had fired it. Nonetheless, Concourt found himself extremely anxious to serve his new master and assist her in finding the device she sought. "Please hold on, Ryqo." he said before crouching low and launching himself into the sky.

Unfortunately, Ryqoshay had been preoccupied with scratching her mount's ears and was unable to react in time to his warning. "Woah woah woah woah woah!" she called as the dog's incredible surge in speed caused a rush of wind to drive her back. She grasped futility to gain grip  on something, anything, but to no avail. "Con-kyaa!" she cried, landing painfully on something. "Ouchie..." she whined, rubbing the sore spot on her posterior. Something didn't feel right, so she quickly surveyed her surroundings. It didn't take her long to discover that she had landed upon a candle that had been lying innocently on the ground. "Oh dear, I'm sorry, Ms. Candle!" the girl apologized profusely and bowed.

For it's part, the tiny torch merely grimaced in silent contempt up at the girl who had just landed on it.

"Mohhh, it's no good to have a discontent candle!" Ryqo declared. "Who then would give us light at night? Oh! I know!"
