..I have always have a soft side for Eminem. This may make me a racist, but the only other rap I like is comedic rap(ya know the rap with funny lyrics).

Do you think he has gotten better?

I think this is the best song he has ever done.

Eminem really annoys me actually, new music no exception. It's something I liked as a child but then quickly grew out of. The only 'rap/hip hop/etc' I listen to is old classics like Public Enemy, Wu Tang Clan, or Run DMC. I don't actively search out any new stuff, I'm sure some of it is equal or maybe even better, but it doesn't appeal to me. I'm happy enjoying the little bits that I have. It's more than enough to satisfy my appetite for that genre.

Without watching the video because youtube is blocked at work, I've never cared much for enimem on the basis that every single song that's had airplay has been completely masturbatory with the exception of "Lose Yourself", but even then that is more a personal backstory and was released to promote his movie, which then ramps the self-fellation back up to normal levels.

That said, there's a lot of room for improvement, but I'm still skeptical because most rap nowadays is so horribly pop-driven.  I blame puff daddy for corrupting and mainstreaming the whole genre.

No if anything his lyrics are a bit womanizing.

I meant it in that the only rapper I enjoy is Eminem.......wait Snoop Doggy Dogg.....okay I'm not racist phew.

I got to see Run DMC inducted into the rock hall of fame, it was awesome.

you meant that you might be racist in the sense that the only rapper you like is Eminem?

I'm sorry but that doesn't make sense

are you sure you know what racist means?

ok, now that I'm home

the song is just par for the course, but it does at least feature a piano as part of the bass beat.

QuoteI know you want me girl cause I can see you checking me out
And baby, you know, you know you want me too
Don't try to deny it baby, I'm the only one for you
(Fart)
Damn girl I'm beginning to sprout an Alfalfa
Why should I wash my filthy mouth out
You think that's bad you should hear the rest of my album
Never has there been such finesse and nostalgia

Of course I know what it means. It seems a bit racist to only like a white rapper when all the other good rappers are black.

There's some rap I like. Can't pin it to any particular artist, though.

50 Cent is annoying, at best. Soulja Boy, ugh... just kill me now..., Lil' Wayne, when he "emerged" he became far too mainstream for his own good. Snoop Dogg, Notorious BIG (probably butchered that) and 2Pac, are really the only mainstream rappers I can respect. Snoop Dogg is hilarious, he's just a lot of fun. Biggy had a lot of class, and his message was similar to what the majority of them sing these days, but back then there was Class to the genre. 2Pac could sing about real life struggles and actually make you feel for him, he invoked a lot of sympathy, it was a shame to see those two die the way they did.
"Moment's anger can revert to joy,
sadness can be turned to delight.
A nation destroyed cannot be restored,
the dead brought back to life."

It's pretty obvious you guys only listen to mainstream rap.
I refuse to play Final Fantasy Tactics again until I am able to do my FF6 patch! And, FFT 1.3 doesn't technically count as FFT: so there!
