Anyone know of any damage formula that will alway reduce the targets HPs to 1?

So if I put my General Leo sprite in for Luso.
Can I make when you encounter Luso that he is your enemy instead of your friend and still have him join after the battle?
Do I just change his team to Red?

I have an un-patched iso file of WotL and when I go to patch the changes I've made with FFT Patcher it says, "Cannot decrypt file".
Any thoughts?

So, I read the Tutorial for editing the sprites in UNIT.BIN, and I don't get it.
It says:
File: Open -> "UNIT.BIN"
Well I typed in UNIT.BIN on Shishi's and it couldn't find it.
I was in the folder it was in...
Am I missing something it doesn't seem anyone else has any problems.

An attempt at making Cloud's sprite into a Tellah sprite, a lot of work is still needed until completion but I thought I'd share it. Tell me what you think!

Anyone know why there is two sprite files for Mustadio? (GARU.SPR & MUSU.SPR); which one does the game use, they are both in 'BATTLE'.
Also, anyone familar with which sprite file (.SPR) contains the sprite map of Cleotinne? (Un-sure on spelling, but he is the Sorceror, the white robed Shrine Knight)
And, if anyone cares I am currently in the works of making a General Leo from FF6 type character sprite/job class.
Any information is much appreciated.

Alright so, I'm new here and at editing sprites/game content and such.
I edited just the colors of the geomancer to test and to my surpise I was successful; however, the changes I made only show up in Battle.
This makes sense having giving the sprite map from the 'BATTLE' folder, but I was wondering if I could make the changes visible on the Menu Screen or whatever you call it Unit Screen.
Thats all any help would be much obliged.
