I'm running 5.00 m33-6 on my PSP.  Love it.  Portable SNES FTW!

But WotL is still one of my favorite games ever.  I have been messing around with LionEditor and FFTPatcher.  Can't seem to get LionEditor to work right, but I'm getting there.  Been working on a patch with FFTPatcher.  Thought I was getting good with it.....until I found this site, you guys are just uber when it comes to hacking this game.  I want to learn all I can to make it better for me.  So here we go.

First thing, sprite hacking, saw the work done on the sprites section and just wow.  How do you implement those onto a CSO of WotL.  Very interested.

Second, how are you making new jobs, like heavenly knight, general, etc etc.  thats enough for now.  Just love the work you guys do and want to learn it myself.

 :ban:    <---Just cool

ive never tried hacking on a cso but to put them into your game, download the latest fftpatcher and there should be a shishi sprite editor on it... with that you can change your sprites...

You can't directly edit a CSO. You have to convert it back into an ISO first. Tools for doing it can be easily found.

Ok shishi only accepts files with extension .shishi.  The one I want is the Vincent Valentine on the custom sprite section and its extension .spr.  Help?

And how about those custom jobs?!?!?!     8)

you'd have to download tactext to change the name of an old job, then use fftpatcher to edit the skills...

You open your iso with shishi, and can directly import those .spr files over the sprites already in the game.
