Title: PSP Emulator for this game?
Post by: IceCreamedNinja on March 19, 2009, 08:26:29 pm
From what I've gathered, there is no good PSP emulator available at this moment. My friend has the game and is willing to let me get the umd or iso or whatever from it, but he's not willing to let me borrow his PSP. Thus, my only recourse to play this is an emulator. Are there any available? Do any of you play this on an emulator?

AFAIK, there are no psp emulators yet. There's a couple that play homebrew (and I think one that plays a single commercial game), but nothing worth mentioning yet.

Zophar's domain (http://www.zophar.net/) generally has info about everything emulating ever. If you ever have a "does it exist" question, browse their listings. Ex: Every notable PSP emulator for windows (http://www.zophar.net/psp.html).

EDIT: There's apparently a Java one. Saw it while making that link. Plays a select few games (not wotl). Crashed horribly when I tried to load Dissidia on it :P

However, there's no real good PSP emulators - the PS1 has been hacked more.

You'd be better off getting a PSX emulator and an ISO of the original game, because it's easier to mod and there's more stuff out for it.

Not to mention the patch "FFT: Complete" which adds in lots of the stuff from WotL & the original Japanese content.

FFT Complete?

Damn, there goes my idea for a TacText patch...

Hey, could FFT complete stack with other patches? I hear patch stacking causes tons of glitches.
