If you analyze the picture closer, Cloud was not actually looking at Ovelia'ss....
Still, it was kind of cool.

Funny thought but no cloud is actually slightly behind Ovelia and he is looking more towards the back of the picture and less to the side.

I did get a chuckle however.

So Balbanes does wear a cape... Hmm... Well, he seems to look more like Zalbag than the others in clothing style =D

Good sprite MiKe, though he looks like he's not wearing any pants. If you wanna give him a cape, use a style similar to Zalbag's or Wiegraf's.

I would really recommend using Blansch's cape, it even has the upturned neck part. Zozma is awesome. Though I would recommend removing the hood, to make room for the pony tail and just look cleaner (I always hated the down hoods). The arms are probably fine, but I would recommend changing the body and legs. Maybe take a look at Smash's FE Solder for the chest, and Squire legs. Zozma uses Zalbag for a body base for Blansch, but I think Balbanes could use something a bit more slimming. Obviously I remembered my ideas on a Balbanes sprite.

Very cool, cold52 (hey, a pun). Does anyone else think that Balbanes's hair is a little too bright? When you resize the sprite, it's intense.

Eh, I don't like that they took out his ponytail on that portrait...

I don't think Orlandeau's legs are really appropriate for Balbanes, the way they are positioned make him kinda look like he is bending his knees a bit. Try a different pair, it just looks weird xD.

Any suggestions?

I'd suggest Zalbag's legs, but without the cape it'd look a little odd...Maybe Ramza's Ch. 1 or 2 legs?

ok so this time not being lazy I decided to mess with it more (like getting rid of the stuff or colors that didnt belong >.>;;;...in the end I think it really is a nice design...also the right one was just out of curiosity because i saw how well it resembled a cloak which I thought was interesting

The hooded Balbanes is very nice,I loved it,some shadings are weird,but is just a small fix

I'm liking it Cold. But like others were saying I think the hair is a bit too white, and I would recommend not having the gloves be white.

I like prefer your hoodless Balbanes, Cold, but he doesn't look all that noble. The hooded one, though he doesn't look like Balbanes, is a damn solid sprite--like an evil Orlandu.

Yours is pretty neat too, Blood. I think you should change out the color on his pants and boots (if you can). Right now there's too much gray/black and it comes off as a little strange. But those legs look pretty decent.

hair more greyish and not white gloves...ok so maybe i should just ask...which you guys think is a better color variant out of these...(you dont need to pay attention to the hooded ones...those are just more of out of my own amusement.

Top row, first one. That's easily the best concept for this character so far. In everyone else's he looks like he's wearing pyjamas.
