No such option I'm afraid. Shame. I've yet to find a QoL hack that does it.

Hello. Cool hack you got here. Question, does it have a cursor memory option? Is that something I can make as a suggestion to further improve the hack?

Sorry, I don't think I'm being clear either. I do understand that all three patches contain the mission fix and varying degrees of Leonarth's options (plus the enemies scaling thing). What I'm asking is: how did you combine your mission fix with Leonarth's options? Maybe this would be obvious to someone who makes patches, not so much to a more casual user. I've used Leonarth's in the past and it took some fiddling given my inexperience but I do know all the options were applied directly to the rom rather than a separate patch.

Yeah, that I got. I meant how did you combine your mission fix patch with the Leonarth QOL options thingamabob.

I suppose I could try the nightmare module thing and see what happens.

I am not sure what you mean by ultimate QOL, so I made the three patches for you. Only apply one patch, do not combine.

Junnix1 - Only scales enemies
  • Enemies scale on all battles and scale w.r.t highest level party member

Junnix2 - The above patch and all of Leonarth's QOL hacks
  • Rename generic party members
  • Morpher changes their sprite to look like a monster
  • Skip into scene and battle
  • Level-ups are not randomized
  • Steal shoes
  • Enemies scale w.r.t first party member

Junnix3 - Both the above patches and Leonarth's JP Learn hack
  • Learn abilities using JP
  • Combo abilities cannot be used
  • Totema cannot be used
Is there any way to make the enemies scale to the highest level party member but not the units you recruit? How did you combine all them patches?

Hello. After playing this for a bit I noticed the Link option is gone. Is that intentional? I kinda suspect it has something to do with the intro skip option, given that I have another patched FFTA rom with the same problem (and that option patched in, obviously).

It worked. She had AP learned. I finished learning thunder and then gave her a different rapier, the new ability (and thunder) was usable in battle and more AP was gained normally.

Here's something else weird about this error. I took the save and opened it in a version of the rom patched only with the steal shoes patch (yes I mean the patch not the Engine Hack thing) and while I couldn't change Marche's job, the red mage had the AP gained previously (in the Engine Hacks version it's either MASTER or 0 AP for every red mage ability). Everybody else could change jobs and everything else seemed normal.

By learned I meant that the ability shows MASTER when I equip her the weapon. Without the weapon equipped the ability is unusable and no AP is gained.

That seems reasonable and story friendly, but it doesn't really solve the problem. If you've trained your Ramza as a chump he will not be able to defeat Wiegraf and you'll be stuck (even with a chocobo). That's why I was suggesting engaging in a training battle from the menu. Maybe something like you can only choose your own units in two teams and to end it you have to punch a crystal or something. It's just a possibility anyway.

Hello, I installed this hack, though only the movement abilities, morphers morph, manual sorting, quick start, steal shoes and generic save level.
Something strange I noticed is that my one redmage (Eldena) can't learn new redmage abilities. When I equip a new ability it shows that it was learned, but when I remove the item it appears unlearned again. I was able to learn cure but only through the white mage. I've learned other abilities normally, both with her and the other characters.

In other FF games there's an option for the cursor to remember your last choice in battle. That way you don't crawl through menu after menu every turn. Has anyone made a patch for this in Tactics?
You know what sucks? Getting stuck in Riovanes in an unwinnable situation. Similarly to Front Mission 3 a solution is to be able to train/buy things from the menu directly. My memory fails me though, I think I vaguely remember a hack where you could leave Riovanes after each battle to regroup/plan better. That's a solution too I guess.

It's a nice mod, it does feel a lot like vanilla and the balancing changes are just right, specially the speed balance.

I'm happy it's no 1.3, but a little extra difficulty would be ok too.

The only thing that bothers me is that I can't find the special encounters (only the one with the bunch of dragons in Mandalia), there is one for every place right?
