Hi,

You change this formation sprite with shishi. In the "other image section" choose the "UNIT.BIN (formation screen sprite)" and import your .bmp (24x40 pixel).

Here is a tutorial a bit outdated but you'll find clear explanations on how to make your own formation sprite

Get PPF-o-matics on this page (choose the win or mac version)

Download TLW patch here (i'm  currently enjoying it, vanilla flavor with some very nice new stuff)

And patch your ISO : It's very simple. Open PPF-o-matics, fill the 2 fields (patch and ISO) and click on apply. Done.

Open the patched ISO with an emulator and enjoy.

I'm two years late, but i usualy put a "PtrSafe" just before the word "Function" and it solves the problem for me.
(But i must say i don't meet the problem with this specific workbook)

I'm a total ASM newbie, but just your first video and your worksheet already open a lot of opportunities for me.
I guess i'll try the ASM tutorial again (it scares me years ago...) and watch the others videos of course.

Done. I've read the tutos and watch the vidéos. I've a better understanding of ASM hacking. But i'm lacking a global view of routines (i'm trying to do a "map" of formulas routine, but it's a mess right now).
The kanji space concept is still a mystery. Looks like it's a free space where the code can be written.
Right now i feel i could write some basic stuff, but the hard part will be to know where to write it.

I'll definitively follow this post, and the watch the next videos.

I'm confused, i'm pretty sure that i saw ,somewhere in the forum,an ASM hack allowing all formulas to inflict status.

I spend a few hours yesterday trying to find it again... It's drive me crazy.

Did i dream this hack ?
