how to patch my psp?

i own the actual handheld, how do i patch to latest version on that? or do i need to download the iso and play from my comp?

do you have custom firmware?

You can c/p your own iso, if you have CFW.

That way you don't have to download viruses and stuff.

okay, this is what i have so far, my PsP, the cable to go from my PsP to Pc, i have the files such as the .exe and the patch. i guess im missing custom firmware?? im not to sure what that is or where to get it OR how to use it, i hate being the new guy cause i know alot of people hate to explain things. and yeah thats all i got. help! im tired of replaying the same game over and over in different classes to mix things up!

okay, i now have custom firmware on my PsP, do i need to download the iso of FFT and put it on my PsP or can i apply the patch to my psp so when i put in the game it will use the patch? or just whatever, i have custom firmware on my PsP, whats my next step for being able to play Patched FFT?
