Help! / Editing Text WOTL PSP

I got error message DTE for BOOT.Bin[29E334] failed.
The ISO has not been modified

U guys know how to fix this?I tried to copy pasting the patched text into the clean iso tactext but to no avail

So I use FFText to edit people names in FFT PSX Version but I can't find one in the PSP Version, is there anyway to edit people names in PSP version?Or do I have to use the complete FFTPacther not the beta version one?Thanks a lot

As far as I'm aware, on the PSP version you'd have to do a lot of switching around. You'd have to get rid of the duplicate Agrias and Mustadio sprites (they have one for their time as Guests and one for their time as permanent members, for no particular reason) and set all the appearances of the duplicate to match the one you kept, or switch Simon to a new sprite slot and change all his appearances... etc.

Welp I have a lot of times to kill with switching sprite etc, I want to use PSP because I want to play the extra battle using Delita or Battle vs Zombie Algus and tbh I dont understand how to edit consolidation sprite because consolidate (FFTLW PSX) already have a lot of custom side story or do vanilla consolidate version exist?

Hi, I've been wanting to ask this question a long time ago, I want to make 3 or 4 new characters with their own set of new skills for personal use without editing FF side story (they join at first gariland battle) so which version should I use?PSP or PSX?I just edit some skill and job names and their description...I don't want to affect original FF story and side story

Some of the event effect are usable in skill like Zodiac Lucavi Transform animation and Fort Zeakden Huge Explosion, so I'm wondering is there any way to use the event effect that freeze the game if used by normal method

I found some of the animation in FFT are making the game freeze, I want to make spell called tsunami or great flood using Sluice Gate flood animation but the game freeze when I use normal method...Is there a way to make it works?I also want to use Altima Death as armageddon spell  :D

Help! / Remap and increasing formation sprite number

I want to make 3 more unique characters without sacrificing anyone sprite or their existent?

I know how to replace Simon the Bishop to get extra space for 1 but I can't figure it out to make 2 more space for the formation sprite

I also don't know how to link unit.bin with the wrldface.bin

Some of the higher ups in this site said we can remap those using newest FFTPatcher but I can't figure it out since I just start modding like a week ago :lol:

I have some very basic problem with editing skill I want to use with sword or any weapon attack...It always ended with normal magic cast...How to edit it?I already mark the weapon strike at the fftpacher

I really want Ramza use Ultima Slash and Time Blade which is damage and give slow or stop...I think normal spell cast on Ramza Ultima are such a waste

If that the case I'll just have to try it myself then, and one more question completely unrelated to this topic, I use sprite 3A (Celia never used) but I dont know how to link it to formation sprite (unit bin and world face bin) can you tell me how to do it?I only use Shishi sprite editor to edit sprite

If I change Head Break (Knight Skill) formula into 2E which give damage when equip destroyed...The hardcoded default will make that skill still target the same specific equipment (which is Helmet/hat in this case) right?

And if I just clone Shellbust Stab into empty skill slot (i found unused skill slot in Elric thread) will it target the same equip (Armor are Shellbust Stab target) if I just edit it's effect (animation)?

Hi I want to make new skill with fftpatcher that can destroy equip such as weapon and armor but I don't know what should I do except by cloning the skill and change the effect (animation)...i just want to know how to correctly destroy weapon or armor without cloning skill...Because the formula I found only 2E which destroy equip and give damage...I cant select which equip part I want to destroy :cry: sorry for my bad english Im not native I hope you guys still understand :)

Hi im new at modding FFT PSX, I want to make 4 or 5 unique character without using any side story character...I only found 2 unused sprite slot Celia and Lede that I can use to make extra 2 unique character...Is there any unused sprite slot again?And I also want to know to edit sprite at battle start squad selection because my unique character using celia lede unused sprite appear as celia and lede at squad selection...Thanks a lot and sorry for my words selection Im not native speaker :( I hope you all still understand the answer Im seeking for :D
