So I was thinking about all the games relating to Ivalice, and randomly wondered what would happen if there was a crossover of some sort. Not neccessarily like Kingdom Hearts style, but also like how they randomly threw Cloud into FFT.

Seeing Ramza and co. in the Vagrant Story universe would be pretty cool...

And yes I did vote in my own poll

This could be off topic, but.. This Vagrant story that I've heard so much about. Is it a good game?

Which console is it on?

It's on the PS1. I haven't played it either, though I've heard nothing but good things about it.

It is an awesome game to say the least. Very complicated in every respect, but very good.

Vagrant Story is an awesome game(but I'm stuck on the snowflies part). I would love to see Ramza meet Ashley. I do not like the Tactics Advance games, because of their strange and annoying battle styles (especially A2). XII was awesome, but they don't really focus a lot on religion so, Ramza would really be out of place as a character. Revenant Wings I never played... so no input.

On a side note... My favorite Ivalice character is Montblanc and I wouldn't mind him in the other games.

That would've been cool. Having human ally would be a lot better than an AI.

yeah Vagrant Story is a great game, it becomes complex with the armor and weapon system. I wish SE would make a sequel for it.

Vagrant Story definitely, the dark ages of Ivalice are definitely a lot grittier then the advents see in FFTA, FFTA2, and FF12 does almost reach into it, yet doesn't quite reach it. The story and locales in FFT weren't very bright and the storyline wasn't heartening at all. Vagrant Story runs on a similar vein.

In that respects, how would they connect? Ramza and friends are dead before Vagrant Story takes place (their personal effects becoming something of legend) I am rather surprised that Vagrant Story didn't touch on any of the Lucavi, for as dark as they are and as dark as the game is, you'd expect at least one to make an appearance. Though to that respect at least Ajora/Altima is mentioned by Sydney.

Copy and pasted from http://square.wikia.com/wiki/Vagrant_Story:

Agrias Balm: Balm used by the great knight Agrias as told in the Zodiac Brave Story. Associated with Agrias Oaks. In Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lion, Agrias is given a lip balm as a gift.
Haeralis: Star sapphire with the power of Haeralis the Brave. Slightly increases power against humans. Associated with Delita Heiral.
Altema - Garnet containing Altema the Fallen's spirit. Increases power against evil enemies. Associated the Lucavi Ultima.
Orlandu - Actinolite containing a fragment of Orlandu's skeleton. Increases power against humans. Associated with T.G. Cidolfus Orlandeau.
Balvus - Chiastrite containing the ashes of Balvus. Increases power against undead. Associated with Barbaneth Beoulve, father of Ramza Beoulve.
Beowulf - Armandine holding Beowulf the Great's hair. Increases power against phantoms. Could be associated with Beowulf Cadmus.
Berial Blackpearl - Blackpearl with Berial's soul bound inside. Increases dark affinity. Possibly associated with Belias (Belial being an alternative rendering of the original Hebrew).

Vagrant Story, definitely.

I only played it for about 2 hours before giving up due to emulator issues, but I found the universe to be quite compelling.

Vagrant Story...what is that..I only saw it on the back of a strategy guide....except that I have never really heard of it.
I think it would be cool to see one of the characters on FF Renevant Wings!!!That's one I played(didn't finish yet). And that's actually where I first saw some of the Lucavi beasts....

Vagrant Story is the "sequel" to FFT, "sequel" in that it takes place long after it in the same world of Ivalice. It references FFT a couple of times, but it is very vague.

I'll need some time to decide, but on the subject of Vagrant Story I can't get into it. My computer is very slow so audio gets raped on emulators, plus using a keyboard to play is a pain.

I'll probably play it some more later but my hard drive got wiped and I lost everything.
