Final Fantasy Hacktics

game's good, i like it very much. only one thing i'm wondering about.. in this game the more you grind the weaker you'll grow @@

my 1st time playing the game i grind my characters to level 20+ even before fighting romar, then i was stuck at the fight with 2 dragons, 2 bombs and 2 skeleton thing. im forced to restart a new game and play through the story without grinding. then i'm able to kill sephiroth at lv 11.

just an opinion of mine towards this great game

omg here comes the problem again. cant patch iso with this newest patch.

downloaded 5-6 ISO to try with. downloaded 3-4 PPF-O-Matic to try with. downloaded few times patch to try with.

i unzip the ISO and straight away patch with ppf, wont work. zzzzz

tried with another PPF-O-Matic now everything works fine. patch done in 5secs lol.
weird though..i've used the old PPF-O-Matic for other patch seems fine.. but cant get through with this patch.

im using laptop, and it's quite new. i7 processor 4gb RAM. shouldn't take that long normally.
and i've dl-ed a few ISO to try with.. no idea why it's not working

i've waited for over 5mins now still nothing happen 

will keep trying until it can be done completely

ya i opened the ISO in shishi before applying the patch.. i read it somewhere else that's the way it's done..

i tried also to apply the patch straight without opening in shishi 1st..but seems like it's not working. waited for few mins and no response

While you have not supplied enough information for anyone to give you a definitive answer, I will go over the common causes for issues such as this.

Are you using Epsxe? It is notoriously problematic with FFT. There are guides here on the forums that will help you configure it properly to ease most of the problems, but sometimes your particular computer will just never function properly with Epsxe (a problem I have had) and I highly recommend using Psxfin.

If that doesn't work, I would wager that you have a bad ISO. Try patching to another fresh ISO rip/dump.

If that still doesn't work, re-download the patch. Sometimes good files go bad during the download process.

If none of this works then please post some more specific information, such as what operating system or device you are playing on.. what emulator.. etc and someone more skilled than myself may be able to help.

I dont think it's the epsxe problem because after i patch the iso, i open the iso again with ShishiSpriteEditor to check on the sprite. and i can see obviously that majority of the characters, the attacking stance sprite is not complete.

I've redownloaded the patch several times. tried with other ISO. still downloading some other ISO to try with at the moment.

downloaded and installed the patch but dont know why the sprites aren't complete. when my characters attack the sprites cant be seen.. please help
