Can't decide between a revised mime team, 140 meta melee mime, or Mimic Ultima. All I know is after all this testing (2 hours worth lol) I'm looking forward to a team with Paladin taking this tournament.

Meteor Rod needs a buff
It's too weak.
It's can be weaker than comet and it's a proc.
MA*15-18 but not affected by MA Up like Murasame.

RNG Worship vs Defense/Status

My most convincing defeat in a while.
R1 - Undead at the start GG Auto Potion Chemist. My team was on the defensive for the entire round. Doku's team did a good job pushing my team back into a corner. The Chemist got stuck in his own little corner himself. This is what I get from removing Refute from the Mime. (Oh wait I didn't.) That just makes the match even more convincing.

R2 - Same thing, but more dominating. My entire team got surrounded and picked apart like a wild Deviljho.  Didn't even get to explore the rest of the map.

Ah, so this is what being affected by status effects is like. (joke)Nerfed Chakra Band but at what cost? (/joke)

GG Dokurider. I'll have to optimize the team even further.

Balanced vs Melee/Status
Betting on TrueLight due to the length of the video.

R1 - Jesus christ that THIEF!
R2 - *see R1*

GG. Glad berserked units can evade now. Gate's team didn't have an answer an answer for strong melee units. Chemist / Snipe would've probably been the better combo

12 SP status vs earth absorb mime
Always betting on mime, but this looks like a bad match up for Malroth.

R1 - Luckily for Malroth silentkaster doesn't have earth absorb. Never in my many matches have I see lightning bow absorb, followed by Don't Act proc. Took 10+ minutes but silentkaster's team was finally able to get close and pick Malroth apart with armor breaks.

R2 - Same as R1 but it took longer.

Pretty one sided despite the length. Malroth's team didn't have an answer for close combat.

Even if other names win I'll only call them Refresh and Sap. Maybe curse for MP Poison because it's a final fantasy related name. All other names aren't FF related. Not counting anything after FFXII.

Would also prefer everyone posting their own teams. If there's pairing I hope it's random and if it's a regular tournament then I hope there's a gimmick rule like no duplicate abilities and items.

Offense vs Balanced Evasion
Haven't implemented Power Rangers(my test evasion team) into 140 yet, but I think my team will have some  major problems against Mantle Gear. I think it'll go to round 3 at the very least due uto AOE and Melt.

Round 1 - Looks like this map will favor me due to aoe and range advantage. Melia opening up with Melt? I think I'm going to love this spell when not used against me. Convincing round for me due to Reks not being able to get close.

Round 2 - Valak Mountain (Night), my alarm that never gets me up in the morning. Great choice for this map. This is how I expected the first round to go if the samurai or chemist got to act. I only have myself to blame for adding Sharla to the group. Anyone else would've worked, but I needed the support.

Round 3 - Just realized why you paired these teams up Truelight. 5 stars Looks like this map will be more equal. Unless I geet lucky and land another melt I think Reks will evade his way to victory. That squire HURTS. I think the crit southern cross for 392(?) on my protected chemist ended this match. Great comeback potential Reks. That last music track tho ;;

GG. It's only fitting this team name loses to evasion RNGesus. That's what I get for not adding Shulk to the group.

Excellent music choice again Truelight. Felt like playing this game lately just for the music. Need to start playing again to beat the optional map bosses.

GG. Didn't know abilities used with guns were evadable and I wasn't quite sure if reflect was active while dead since it's not in the master guide. Not seeing the icon while the unit was dead threw me off. Looks like beginner mistakes are possible in 140. MVP goes to the scholar. Raise 2 2 stronk.

Learned a lot watchingthe stream. Good stuff CT5

I don't remember the name of the map, but the temple where you fight the steel giant could use some altering. I recommend just making it impossible to go into the temple so that the AI can't be affected by the underground targeting.

Got through Long Bows and Katana today. Looking forward to making samurai units with using the attack action in mind. With Genji Helm adding SP instead of being useless, I think it's safe to say we'll see a lot more Katana + Genji Helm + Diamond Armor combinations. Something I'd never think about before.

With Mime staying at 8 sp without shield access I'll just quit mime and make highly competitive samurai teams instead, it'll be a challenge with the masamune ability possibly being nerfed

With melee samurai being a thing should Masamune really lose it's regen effect?  With SP altering being out of the game I think we'll see more Yell usage combined with accumulate and focus. Wouldn't mind yell actually being instant and self cast with an mp cost tbh.
