I'm completely revamping Aquarius. His name is originally "Cherrub" in the PS version, and is a "water bearer" (though air affinity). So, I'm going with a Tengu sort(which seem to be associated with clouds, which bring rain/water), with a baby's head (To further associate with the air property, because of the "Cherubs", but also because when I heard "Water bearer", I thought of the womb.)

Hey all -- small update: I've been pretty busy with RL stuff, but I'm back for a little bit. I've been working on Lotan, mostly, and a bit on Aquarius.

I don't like my current approach to the "Water bearer"(Aquarius) -- I was hoping for a megamouthed holding water sort of demon, but it might be too "Demonic" (i.e. not FFT like).

I'm also not at all pleased with my Sel (Libra) -- He's pretty lame.

Lotan is very, very basic right now. But I don't know which direction I honestly want to take with him.

With those thoughts exposed, with emphasis that I know they need work, here's what I have. I would definitely appreciate ideas :)

And a small edit: (might change Lotan's mouth back, I'm downsizing Aqua~

Not as fast as the ogre and giant, but hopefully soon.

I'd like to get 1 out every 2 weeks -- but that might not happen.

Yeah sure. Pretty much every all FFT sprites use the colour #282828 or #282820 as the darkest colour (the black). You said you used Rafa as your palette reference so if you look at her eyes and her hands you will find it :P. It is hardly used on her though, the only other place is on her feet.

Excellent advice. That is definitely something I completely over looked like an idiot.

Small update -- Cancer concept. Thoughts? If you think I should scrap entire ideas, let me know, also. The palettes feel real off, so I'll be trying vanilla ones, soon.

That is awesome news, indeed. : O Lucavi abilities are very limited, and almost redundant (if not outright so).

I'm not going to be doing FFXII ones as I felt they were cheesy renditions/replacements for the original 6 that were left out.

In any case, what sort of palette do you all think would work for Lotan? I might let him be a"free" one. The concept is that he is wrapped up in thick fishing line, with hooks in his mouth.

I'll be starting on Sel's full body, soon.

Lastly: Was Duma's old shading better?
