Oh, ye of little faith in my team setups - they may be unorthodox and strange, but they work when they get the chance to. But LOL @ rounds 2 and 3, though! Wow. Just unbelievable! That comeback in R2, and those charm procs in R3; simply amazing. I was literally speechless, especially R3. Very GG, reinoe.

Yep, just as I expected. With folks whoring Slow 2 nowadays, I had to come up with a defensive setup that completely shut it down as well as other nasty status (mainly berserk and sleep). Half of Leif's team was shut down, pretty much making it a 2v4, but even with the paladin & mediator negated mostly, his team still put up a decent fight overall. Of course, it didn't help that charm worked its magic at key points, and then once the accessories got jacked, the death sentences started coming. GG.

Doesn't matter really; SS is one of my teams that I've figured out how they operate in general. I guess I could've said this in the spoiler in my last post, but when they don't get utterly curbstomped, they do decent enough for a team that hasn't been updated in over a year. Maybe more. I seriously can't remember the last time I updated Sisters, to be honest. Still not going to be updating them as they're going away soon and I haven't figured out what to change on them. They had a pretty good run, though - they won over half of their matches; which is pretty good compared to other teams of mine.

On another note, your thunder team is nice Reks. I completely suck at making elemental based teams; at least ones that actually are somewhat effective. Heck, certain classes I just stay away from altogether. I'll take my thieves, monks and mediators any day.

Yeah...nothing much to say about that one.

Wow, that was...very interesting overall. Thief gets his Cursed Ring stolen, so he had to go and take his friend's Cursed Ring (that was a chuckle in itself), and then there's the fact that the paladin killed the whole team by himself, pretty much. Berserk also played its part. I think if Fenire's units could've reached the dancer earlier, he would have had a better chance and I was actually glad that Fenire's priest didn't have Move-MP Up, otherwise round 2 would have lasted a hell of a lot longer I think. GG Fenire.

Amaze, I mean. Haha.

You never fail to disappoint, TrueLight. Thanks a lot.
107
I guess. If any of my teams could use a gauntlet match, I'd want it to be Frannies or Quartet actually.

Barren or TrueLight, if it's not too much trouble, could I get a few matches with Odd Quartet & Springtime Sisters? The former as they only had one match since they debuted weeks ago and the latter since they're going back to being inactive really soon. Thanks.

Probably because I used a slightly outdated memcard generator. Mine has Poison listed as 150 JP, and not 100. Should've known that the current one has Poison listed as 100, but didn't bother to check it. So yeah, my fault.

I also completely forgot what I have to do to update the memcard generator. Unless someone would be willing to send me an updated copy of it; that way I don't have go completely nuts trying to figure out what to do.

Simply a bad matchup for Fenire, no doubt about that. No way to handle the constant magic barrage from scholar + geo (mainly the geo) plus the fact that Fenire only really had 3 units to work with to begin with. The thief had something going in Round 1, but the Counter Floods got him and it was all downhill from there. Immortal paladin w/Cheer Song is useless unless facing against another stall team. GG.
112
Well. I can't help but think that Leif was on a mission to beat both Sisters and Frannies with the same team. Plus, Consecration spam = GG undeads. I do have to admit that team is very effective, though.

Agreed, poison is much better against Haste 2 teams rather than masamune teams.

Poison on its own is countered hard by lots of things, that's why poison on its own isn't that great. But on the flip side, poison can be a great "distraction" tool against Masamune teams, though - as long as the source of poison is reliable and if it's used correctly. Take a team with a fast unit running Kiyomori, and a Slow 2 spammer, for example. Kiyomori on its own can potentially send the unit running Masamune into a loop and waste turns spamming it to get rid of poison instead of doing more useful things to contribute to the team, which gives them a disadvantage right there. The easier the poison can be applied, the better. That's one reason why Kiyomori is so good; instant and always works unless the unit is running poison/blind protection and can cause masamune loops. Of course, it all depends on how the unit running Masamune (and ultimately, the entire team) is built. And if there is a Slow 2 spammer present along with said Kiyomori unit, that's especially bad for the Masamune team if that same unit is built for damage or is an important part of the team's overall DPS, and the team's chances of winning goes down even further because they won't be able to keep up. Once the loop & the slow train starts rolling, if the other two members of the team can constantly apply pressure to the Masamune team with a combination of either fast/high melee DPS, AoE DPS stuff like the cross skills, long range damage, AoE magic/summons, lore, or even more status, the Masamune team will have a very hard time coming back from a team like that. If a team like that can win like this, then poison has effectively done its job. Just look at Futuristic Frannies; you'll see what I mean.

QuoteDS plus Poison would be great against those teams that run reraise, phoenix down, wish and potentially cursed ring.

Against PD and Wish, yes - poison is good against those, that I 100% agree with. Potentially reraise, as well (though that depends on how the team is set up and what the AI does at the time, to be honest). I dunno about poison being good against Cursed Ring though. Perhaps if the Cursed Ring unit revives with low HP or something. Poison is much better against Phoenix Blade units that aren't running any of 108 Gems, Platina Helmet or Diamond Armor - literally takes that unit out of the fight until it wears off or someone manages to heal it, which can be devastating to the team.

Amazing Round 1; edge of your seat type stuff right there. Charm is probably the only reason why I won; both rounds, charm got Reks' units to remove petrify from the undead units. Dancer had more of an impact in round 2, which was nice, as well. GG.

Oh, by the way Barren, about having Revive on that dancer, that was simply a mistake when I posted the team; I meant to take it off of her but forgot to.

Oh god, the Holy damage. That geo can one shot just about anything provided it isn't holy immune/absorbant and if she can get the spell off in the first place. Good/Best compats, too. I realize that my oracle has way too many spells and she can't find a way to slow the opposition down so the rest of the team can do stuff. Monk was just dead weight the whole time and couldn't do anything. I may just have to sacrifice some damage for some defensive options, too. GG.
117
Regen (the spell itself) is so bad...I mean, on Round 3, the mediator goes for Regen instead of Raise 2? I mean, really? Wasting another turn to throw a PD, only to get killed again? I hurt when I saw that, and that wasn't even my team. Speaking of my team, Dizzy Troupe has better DPS than I thought - this team was initially meant to be a joke team, but they actually do stuff. Other than that, it's good to see Bio 3 being used. GG, Dol.

I got this one Barren. Already recorded two matches with them.

Mime craziness abound! Neverthless, Frannies became too fast for Malroth's team to handle. GG.
