I have looked around and can't find any info on this. Do we know how to change data on random battles? For example, what map, what formations, and what ENTD #s are used? The attack.out editor can edit all this for event battles but I'm interested in modifying randoms.

Any help is appreciated.

All this should be pretty clearly available in FFTPatcher under ENTDs. Are you trying to change something other than what units appear?

Yeah.

I would like to change:

what map, what formations, and what ENTD #s are used

on any particular random-battle-having map spots.

So you can change everything related to ENTDs with the patcher, so I'm not seeing much point to changing what one is used.

The maps to random battles, are tied to there location on the world map I believe. I don't know how to change this, and I doubt you could have different maps for different battles at the same world map location. I believe that the formations are tied to the map itself...I could be wrong on this one.
