It's funny cause by the end of the fight, Luso ended up taming two of the Behemoths.  :P  Charming one of them right off the bat really helped.

And it was one I grew myself - it was Ramza, to be more precise.  Oddly enough though, by Chapter 4, in the second Zalmour fight, making him a Dark Knight that time, he had all the Action skills available to him instead of -just- Crushing Blow.  The last time I tried Dark Knight was back in Chapter 3.

This patch has been both infuriating in some spots (Luso fight with lvl. 45 Behemoths when I still have yet to get to Riovanes), it's also been a lot of fun and interesting.  It's been very well done and I'm really enjoying it!

The one thing I -have- noticed, and I'm honestly not sure if it's supposed to be like this, is that Dark Knight, despite learning all Active skills, only has Crushing Blow available in battles.  I haven't played the vanilla version, so is it supposed to be like this?  As well as the notes for 2.5 saying 'Move +2, Move +3, and Jump +3 have been removed', but Dark Knight has Move +3 and Jump +3.

Also, sorry to be a pain-in-the-butt, but is it alright if I ask where I could find info on growth rates for the classes in this patch?

Thank you, Eternal, for all the effort you've put into this patch!

Not gonna lie, my heart was pounding the entire time, and when I saw all those procs in the first round, I got worried - stalling with really good damage and a high evasion, stubborn Chemist is an incredibly well-built team, so I didn't figure I'd even win the second round.  Grand Cross Squire managed to do what he was supposed to, though, and my team did a good job of supporting each other with Maelstrom, Earth Slash, and items.  And once that Chemist was cut off from the rest of her team, all she could do was stall for time.  (Cue her stopping my Ninja and putting my Squire to sleep while being stuck right in the corner.)  But again, those procs were honestly pretty scary to me, especially since Don't Act and weapons being broken is what ruined me in my first match of the tournament.  You were an incredibly good match, Anima, and it was really fun to watch.  GG.

I wouldn't say the second one is bad by too much of a stretch.  Like many sequels, it certainly doesn't hold up to it's predecessor.  The first ToS game is certainly much more nostalgic to me, and has better story and moments, but the sequel isn't terri-bad. I don't like some of the voice actor replacements (yes, there are some), but some of the skits are genuinely really well-done, and it's interesting to see how times from the first game have changed.  The whole monster as team members thing is different for a Tales game.  It's kinda neat, though I don't remember much of it from when I played it.  Though... I remember Mystic Artes not being as useful.  Might just be me, though.  :v

You can also take on some side-quests, though the majority of them are pretty much like Tales of Radiant Mythology, with the same, certain type of dungeons being used and implementing different requirements to fulfill them - beat the enemy at the end, find a treasure, find someone, etc.  Nothing special about most of them.  Though there are a certain few that lead to some pretty nice rewards, if done in the right order at the right time, apparently.  Never managed to do them, myself.  v_v

Okay, so wow - I gotta say, Reks' team is one of the few I've seen that operate the best when they're split up, as the Bards tend to draw attacks cause the Dancers jump, and DAMN their jump damage is crazy. But because of that, this is a team that operates best on large and a number of medium maps, as shown with the second round.  Really though, Reks' win is a good example of slow and steady winning the race.  Domie has a good set-up, too, with his units hitting for some pretty good damage and managing to sand-bag pretty well, but because of how hard Reks' jumping Dancers could hit, along with saving speed with Cheer song (when it hit), and saving PA when they survived a hit, it was only a matter of time before Reks over-powered Domie.  Good job, you guys.

I LOVE YOU PLEASE DON'T WHIP ME AGAIN  D:

... Or you could~

(Yes I will occasionally go out of my way to make people feel uncomfortable.  Sometimes.)

As for being active around the site, I will definitely try to do so and kinda get my hands dirty in learning some things here and there, I'm just not sure how active I'll be as I'm kinda handling some things IRL, but it's fine - I wouldn't have spoken up if I didn't think I couldn't handle it.  Just a fore-warning, I s'ppose.

... Yes I'm awkward and kinda weird shhhhhh

There's hard work involved?!  I DIDN'T SIGN UP FOR THIS UGH JUST HAVE EVERYONE ELSE DO EVERYTHING FOR ME

... Not.   :P

There's a fair amount to learn and do around here, and to me, it's a bit over-whelming as I don't quite understand some of it, but with time it'll start to sink in.

... Just gotta find out where to begin.  xP

Herro everyone, and 'tis a pleasure to, well, 'meet' you.  :3

I've kinda been a long time creeper - nearly 2 years - around this site, having only ever made 3 posts, and those were regarding Arena, and it's only now that I've finally decided to kinda actually make myself more 'known', in a manner of speaking.  I remember stumbling across this site 2 years ago and being completely awe-struck at the amount of things there were going on here, regarding FFT mods and patches.  Hell, it's still pretty awesome.  I HAD wanted to kinda get involved in some way, but I kinda found myself overwhelmed, admittedly - there's a lot of information around here that I don't quite understand and grasp the concept of, so I'm gonna be kinda slow when it comes to learning some of the stuff around here, but it seems really cool.  Altering the game to improve certain functions, or just making something of custom use in some way, or creating an entirely new story - all of it is definitely not easy - ah, well, from what I understand, anyway.  But it's something I wouldn't mind learning.  ^^

I am kinda awkward and won't speak up much, and if I ever say anything offensive or mean to anyone, or even something stupid, I apologize in advance - I can tend to run my mouth off sometimes without thinking things through too clearly.  I'm working on that.

Well, it's nice to meet you all, and I hope to be a bigger part of the community in some way in the future.  >w<
