What?!?
Oh pitiful shadow lost in the darkness, bringing torment and pain to others. Oh damned soul wallowing in your sin, perhaps...it is time to die

Crap, I think I may need to do some color fixing, I just remembered I have to have one color for background...I'll try changing the trimming to Blue and the gloves and shoes to brown, then I'll only be using two blue shades...

I'm afraid he wont stand out well though, his armor/clothes/whatever is kinda dark, and so is his hair.

Arms are extremely teadious and hard to get working...i suggest zalbags arms for the sprite...but you may have already used a sprite with compatable arms, so ill keep meh mouth shut.

Zalbag is my base sprite xD Sadly, most of this is just a recolor, despite whether it looks good or not. So, I'l just going to be recoloring his arms that are already on the sheet.

haha, i guess i have a good eye then :)

i dont see zalbag much in sprite sheet form, so i never payed to much attention to him. if you ahdnt told me, i wouldnt have guessed this was mostly a recolor ;P you did a very convincing job on it

Well, I changed the hair and added a little piece to the trimming running under his chest, instead of just looping on the sides, around his arms.

cool. when i saw it, something abour the torso seemed unfamiliar when you mentioned that it was zalbag...then again i just wrote myself off as playing so much FFT you get confused.

I got a bit more done =D

Screw it, it won't stop being fuzzy in the very small versions. I'm not sure what I'm gunna do with that back facing one... the hair just doesn't look right.

Use the hair from Zozma's hatless thief.

Why? I'm trying to make his hair medium lengthed, like mine. Not short and kinda poofy...

Well I think using the hatless thief's hair as a reference would be useful. You are trying to do too much from scratch right now and the hair is missing a lot of detail. Just an idea.

yea, it needs another color...soem more depth :P its fine right now, but it looks kinda like when you make a circular eliptical in MS pain and just paint one color into the circle...lol

Ha, I tried to make my own portrait, but failed quite epically. I could use some help if anyone would give some.

give the hair one more color, simply use one of the skin tones for a sheen.
then its all good

oh wait, im talking about the sprite hair, not the portrait
