I'm seeing it on Wednesday morning. We've planned a double date with another couple.

Though it is KILLING ME to have to wait. I haven't been this excited about a movie in a long time! And not just because it's the new Batman.. It's mostly because I am a die hard Christopher Nolan fan.

The Prestige and Memento are, easily, in my top five of all time.

Saw it last night, it was amazing. Much better than I expected.
I thought everyone was just kissing Heath Ledger's ass saying his performance was great because he died, but when I saw him in action I completely changed my mind.

I seriously doubt I'll regret it.

I hate modern movies especially the blockbusters. Only action movies I still like are martial arts.

Love what you're seeing? https://supportus.ffhacktics.com/ 💜 it's really appreciated

Anything is possible as long as it is within the hardware's limits. (ie. disc space, RAM, Video RAM, processor, etc.)
<R999> My target market is not FFT mod players
<Raijinili> remember that? it was awful

*** SPOILERS AHOY! ***

Saw it yesterday, it was sweet, especially because it seemed to have no fucking end, everytime I was like "Okay, so, this was the final fight, right? Oh, they'll stop here to leave a cliffhanger for the next movie, right? Oh, so they'll stop here since he was caught, right?" when the movie stoped I crossed my arms and went "Oh, no, you silly bugger, you ain't fooling me now. C'mon, spill the beans, go ahead, I'm waiting, you didn't end yet."
It was also how Spiderman 3 should have been: Darker, Longer, and in this one they knew how to fit more than one villain in the movie.

BUT! I am a hard man to please, so a list of things I didn't like:
1 - They only said "I believe in Harvey Dent" once. In the fucking posters around the cinema they made it seem to be the catchphrase of the year. It wasn't annoying, but I expected it to be used more often.
2 - I didn't get the Scarecrow at the beggining of this movie. He was a fake?
3 - Ledger was a good actor, but I aways thought of the Joker as a Laughing fellow, not a lip-licking fellow.
4 - Scars? What scars?! Seriously, I understand he was supposed to have scars in the mouth to resamble a smile, but they were pratically invisible under the clown makeup.
5 - We never got to know how did he get those anyway.
6 - I expected the Joker to use laughing gas that makes people crazy. It's like his trademark, you know? That grenade in the beggining, the one in the mouth of the guy, it released gas, I expected it to make him laught as a madman.
7 - I liked the boat scene, but thinking that no one at the civilian boat wouldn't blow up the prisioner's boat is just silly. The prisioner one was easier to believe because it was just one man who made the decision.

Still, I chose to ignore those, because the movie was fucking awesome.

Grandy you should probably put some spoilers warnings up on you post.

Also, for the "I believe in Harvey Dent!", it was a viral marketing scheme, and it would not have made sense to have him campaigning with his slogan as he had already been elected to the District Attorney position by the start of the movie.  However...

***SPOILERS***

Part of Batman's motivation throughout the movie was to get others to believe in Harvey Dent as a "white knight" of Gotham.  He wanted people to beleive in Harvey so much that Batman took the blame for the murders.

I just thought anyone who read "Now here's a list of things I didn't like" would most likely already be aware that a spoiler would follow, but fine, let's have it your way.

Also....

 *** MORE SPOILERS AHOY! ***

Batman's intention was initially to make him the white knight so that Gotham would no longer need Batman, after all there was no crime yet for him to take the guilt for. Then shit happens, Two Faces flips coins, kills and then Batman decides to take the guilt, but that's only in like the final 5 minutes of the movie.

I would recommend "Anyone want to see me make this pencil disappear?"

Gives me the creeps just thinking about.

That was insane, as soon as that happened everyone in the theater let out a simultaneous "OH!"

On the other end of the movie spectrum, im going to see the new Will Ferrel movie tonight, Step brothers. I have been a fan of the John C. Reilly and Will Ferrel team since they started working together. I hope this lives up to how funny the previews looked.
