I added a singing animation to skeletons once just for fun. What I did was that I used the charging animation and made his eyes glow. It looked pretty cool, I think.

Wait, isn't the skull just a mask? Shouldn't it look the same as every other angle? Though Vanya's suggestion sounds bitchingly cool.

I made his eyes glow, say how it look, besides Mav is right, it's just a mask, and I can't think of anything more fitting.

According to what Zodiac said in another topic, the portrait has to have its own palette: the first palette is for the unit or sprite itself, and the ninth one is for the portrait. The example he provided was for Ajora:

But my palette has 16 colors and I'm unable to change portrait color without changing sprite color...

The sprite files have multiple palettes saved in it.  The portraits use separate palettes.

I still don't get it, there is no option to save as .spr in GG, and even if there were such option, it wouldn't help me cause the portrait would look strange(colors).

The portrait will remain looking strange on that palette.  The correct portrait that palette will use will be on another palette of its own.

So simply I don't have to bother now? If yes then it is done! Just tell me how to make it a .spr file now.

In referance to Cerberus: Looks good for starters. Their mouths are too beaky, and the top of the head looks like a dragon, still. Needs ears XD Once those things are solved, it'll be damn ass awesome.

Cerberus! Not too bad. I agree with Luiakyn about them still looking like dragons on the first post, but you're on the right track. Try giving 'em dog ears; that should help.

Nice >: D getting there. Needs ears XD

I'd help with the portrait, but that is something I'm pretty terrible at.

The cerberus' back needs to look more round and the heads don't look properly connected to the body.  Towards its haunches, there are some strange angles.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Cerberus having reptilian heads.  It is a mythological beast, after all, especially a beast of hades.
