Use of ePSXe before 2.0 is highly discouraged. Mednafen, RetroArch, and Duckstation are recommended for playing/testing, pSX is recommended for debugging.

If you are leveling back up via Retraining, it fully wipes your stats first.

I read some of the patch notes and the mod description and couldn't figure out if this mod has the WotL script instead of the Vanilla script? Also are the character names vanilla or WotL

PSX. I wanted to use the WotL script originally but there were some conflicts I didn't know how to resolve at the time.

Sorry, I'm new to FFT modding.  Do I need to mod the game with The Lion War before your mod?  Or does your mod contain all of The Lion War mod?

Thank you!

Ok I solved my problem.

You can install this mod without installing any other mods first.

Hello. I can't seem to send anyone out on jobs or special training. I can select the units I want but I can't go any further than that. I pressed all the buttons but it doesn't do anything for me. I am also running into the same problem when I view the stage. I can't back out afterwards. Was wondering if anyone else has this problem?

No, not that I've ever heard of. There is a thing about having to make sure Duckstation is set to to analog or digital input or something along those lines, but I wouldn't have expected you to be able to get that far if you were dealing with that issue.

I can only guess that you're dealing with emulator issues of some kind.

Got you. I'll take a closer look into the emulator. I appreciate the help.

Edit: May have posted in the wrong place, and maybe these were fixed in the 1.2 beta. Oops.

Absolutely loving this mod so far. Here's two things I noticed, and I'm just wondering if they're actual bugs to be fixed, likely emulator issues, or just my own misunderstanding.

1. The "defend" command claims to not consume your "act", but as far as I can tell, it still does. A character using "defend" has their CT set back by the same amount as one who attacks or uses another action.

Example: Assume everyone has identical speed.
Bob moves and and attacks on his turn. Now it's Tom's turn, and since he has the same speed as Bob, I can highlight Bob and see that his CT has gone down to zero.
Now Tom moves and uses "defend". Now it's Sally's turn and I can highlight Tom and see that his CT is also at zero along with Bob's.
Sally moves and uses "wait". Now it's Kevin's turn and I can see that Sally's CT is at 20 while Bob and Tom are at zero.

Shouldn't Tom also have 20 CT if defend didn't consume "act"? Or is there something else that happens behind the scenes that I just can't see?

2. The Archer's "aim" claims to never miss, but the percentage that shows when I use it is exactly the same as a regular attack and it has also missed. Shouldn't it show 100%?
Also, there is no terrain in the way and no reaction abilities involved. I'm talking about monsters and early game NPC enemies on Mandalia plains, and I know what it looks like when there's a rock in the way.

Just wondering if it's just me. Everything else seems to work great and is a fantastic way to revisit an amazing classic game.

Hi, i have a question !

Can i transfer my save profile from psxfin to duckstation? I'm not getting it

I started playing in psxfin but i would like to try duckstation too, and I didn't want restart the game :(

Anyone can help me?

Psxfin is also perfectly compatible with the game.

Duckstation has a memory card editor thing that honestly sucks to use. I know a fair few folks here use it, but it would be better to ask on a Duckstation related forum how to get it working as correctly as possible.

Auto potion only cure 30, not 70 or 150, 30 all time.

"Use a potion when attacked. Potion chosen based on the damage of the last hit received"

The smart auto potion doesn't work for me, anyone can help me please

Pretty sure there was a bug with it that I ended up fixing in 1.2.

I know this is a bit late and I'm not toooo sure if you haven't already done it yet but I tend to use memmanager.exe to take different formats between different emulators or editor programs.

I believe I grabbed this off someone's post about FFTastic bob knows how long ago. I do not bother with the duckstation memcard editor. MCD is the format for duckstation. GME is the format FFTastic that I have should you want to use some stat/job editing.

Excellent mod, I like it very much. I would like to better understand the option in the extra settings:
1. Unit generation > Job levels
What exactly means More jobs in later chapters and what difference between specified job and current job?

Thanks for your work!
