FFT: Honored - Celdia's latest project - Newest Ver. 019a (05/12/22)

Quick and Dirty update to v.019


[v.019]

- Gave Meliadoul an Extra Skillset for Charge skills (Aim) and Sharpshooting has new placeholder skills for now. May expand her skill list later.

- Reis HP Growth fixed. Reis Speed Growth adjusted down some.

- Beowulf skills should be usable without any specific weapon type now.

- Rafalak got their unique skills modified to Single-Target and 1 to 4 Random Hits.

- Dycedarg Reaction updated.

- Alchemist Rifle price adjusted.

- Raised Worker 8's MA stats to functional values.

- Adjusted Monster Raw Speed down from 0A (163840) to 09 (147456) - This should help a lot of various battles that were too hard because of fast monsters.

- Monk's Seal Evil flagged for Weapon Range now.

- Yojimbo's Swift Draw now cancels Charging/Defending/Performing.

- Adjusted some War Trophies that weren't working properly.

- Adjusted some battles for excessive difficulty - may still need more attention.

- Fixed some text errors.

Quick bugfix patch since folks were noticing some stuff (Stonelord Support, Equip Gauntlet Support, some items) weren't working properly due to some improper patch building on my part. That should all be worked out.

[v.019a]

 - Repaired Attribute Rewrite effects.

 - Increased Time God base Speed multiplier (50 up to 75)

 - Adjusted enemies at Nelveska Temple to be less insane. Again.

I think that was it.

Attempting to equip the first shield available at the merchant (gauntlet) seems to crash/freeze game, using Duckstation.

Apologies if I wasn't supposed to post in this thread by the way, wasn't sure where else to put it.

Edit: Properly saving/reloading the game resolved this issue for some reason. Not sure why or how but I guess I'm glad. So, apologies for this unnecessary post. Very cool mod, though.

Edit again: Playing some more what I've noticed is, this bug tends to pop up intermittently. For example, attempting to equip 'headgear' when it became available reproduced the same freezing-bug. So I've begun saving often before equipping new stuff in case the game needs to be reloaded.



The oddities I've noticed are mostly stat-related. At the moment, equipping a Jade Armlet to Ramza is showing a 'negative 70' in the magic attack preview, actually equipping it sets it to '07', and replacing the Jade Armlet with anything else shows up as '+70' plus whatever the equipment might add or subtract. I had another experience with Jade Armlet where equipping it was adding ~130HP. These bugs are transient however, it goes back to normal after a hard save/reset.

Mastudio's version of Bad Medicine seems to not work? Enemy alchemists have success but I've never had more than a 0% chance or any successful hits with Mastudio.

Hustle seems to grant +1 SP instead of Move, even though in the attribute spreadsheet it references the +1 move attribute.

Meliadoul seems to join the battle wearing a thief hat, but isn't allowed to equip it once joined up.
