Random concept sprites

Some stuff of mine








Several patches need new sprites and I propose everyone pitch in and make concept sprites like these from one or two angles. They don't take long at all (cut/copy and paste are your friends) and we could churn out huge numbers of them in no time.

Also looking for suggestions on what type of body should go with my mini behemoth head. Orlandu is just a placeholder.

whatever you pick for the behemoth head, make sure it ends up with a hood / cloak

olan and/or king delita come to mind...

Good idea. I'll choose a red hood to represent the DB's hair. Also, here are 2 more concepts.

Heheh.  Amusing Malboro.  You could probably do really well mimicking the crowns from FFXII.

Rather than using that behemoth head for an alien traveler, why not try a Tonberry?  The facial structure and brown hood reminds me of them.  It would take more thorough editting, but I'm sure I'm not the only one that would think having Tonberries would be awesome.  (Unless there's work on tonberries I am not aware of.  That's quite possible.)

It certainly should look meaner if it's going to be a behemoth.

Also, I need a body for the eyeball dude. The mime body is just a placeholder. Just seeing how the ahriman head would fit on to a normal sprite body

I'm a huge fan of the summoner/black mage sprite as well. My only suggestion would be to use Elbidis's hat instead to make it more unique.

I don't know why everyone makes such a big deal about that BM/Summoner. It took 10 minutes. The shoulder armour for the birdman (diagonal) alone is a far bigger accomplishment.

The female in green in the first post kinda makes me think of Crystal Chronicles. Perhaps if you make her shorter, and add in some other things, you could have a really good looking Clavat female.

yeah not bad. Good palette in particular. I'd actually suggest using Olan's body to go under the red scarf thing. It would look like a good bandit-type character then. I might have a crack at it myself actually

yeah the scarf thing is from olan put on dycedarg's body
