thinking about doing a recording thing

Yeah, seems to be all the rage these days.  Recording and leaving commentary on different game playthroughs.  I'm thinking of doing one myself.  Problem is, I don't know what game and psx doesn't have a recording feature as espxe does.

so I'm reaching out to all of yall for an idea of what game to record playing and instructions on working epsxe ^^

if yall give my support I'll also be sure to include those people in my videos somehow.

Camstudio is a free capture program.

okay i'll look into that

edit: it's alright.  kinda makes my game run a bit slow.  the graphics when viewing is a bit poorer and i haven't yet figured out audio and speaking

double edit: okay I can get my speaking in there but not the game audio.
also got the epsxe emulator working but i don't know where the recording feature is.

What game to record playing? Try Suikoden. Or Suikoden II. There's fairly good scenes to comment.

I think most emulators have built-in capture software

(I never use epsxe's but I know it's got one..)

I have those two images already so it's no problem.  Maybe I'll do suikoden one (cause i haven't played it in forever) and then take it over to suikoden two.  I've been playing suikoden 2 and the only problem i have is with the cutscenes but i'm able to get past them with continuously putting the image back in.

Voldemort: I use the psx emulator.  you know, all basic and stuff.  It doesn't have any recording function on it.  I have camstudio but I haven't figured out how to get both sound and my speaking on there as well.

I'm also going to be going to college in a few days and start having less free time to play my games.  So yeah, I'm going to learn stuff, yay.  When I get everything figured out I'll let yall know and post things but I don't see it happening until I can get something that can record ingame sound and my voice, unless it's not possible.  It would be great though.  Anyways that's all I have to say for the moment.

had me a couple of viruses that had me wipe my whole computer to save it.  so right now rebuilding my image collection.  so once i get everything rebuilt I'll start to get to my recording.  Any info on the recording thing and how to do sound and voice will be appreciated and those that help me may even have a few seconds of fame or be known throughout the game while doing my playthrough.  anyways there's my update on this project.  hope to hear from yall soon.
