How feasible would it to be to import the jobs and races of FFTA into FFT? I was thinking of some ways it could work.
The male Squire is the base for the "Hume" path. The "Nu mou", "Viera", and "Bangaa" are actually special units (like Agrias) so they have a different starting job, but they open up jobs like everything else. Next, the base jobs unlock nothing on their own. A few jobs are manually opened up for each race that are gender specific. For example, the Hume starts off with the Thief class, and the thief is the real base of their jobs. Using Dancer and Bard jobs, which are gender bound, you ensure that these real starting jobs are impossible to actually reach normally. For instance, the thief uses the bard slot, but the requirement to unlock that job is the Dancer slot. Same with the other true starting jobs.
This creates unique jobs that separate each race. you then manually go through every unit in the game to ensure they have the proper starting jobs pre-unlocked. Then you'd just have to work out which starting classes each race should have to ensure they have the right jobs.
The races would be represented as:
Hume = Males
Viera = Females
Bangaa = Warriors
No Mou = Wizards
This has never been done, so I presume it's not possible.
