Regarding improved rest:
I tought AI sometimes took advantage of the waiting feature (i.e. +20ct).

Well.. Here goes more ideas:

Steady Feet:
Can't be knocked back. (mix well with jump +1)

Racing
Move +3 jump -2. Better than nothing idea.

Arcane Step (Magic Sprint or whatever)
Move +2, but you lose 1/3 current MP (or 1/4 max) each time you move.

QuoteImproved Rest <Geomancer?> (couldn't figure out a name)
You get 40 ct instead of 20 when you don't move.
AI won't be able to take advantage of this kind of ability, since they won't know
they have to stay to receive the bonus.

Can you hack AI a bit for this kind of posibility?

You need novement abilities sugestions, right? Here goes a few ideas:

Sprint/Move get CT <thief or calculator> (I am not really good with names)
You gain 5 ct per square moved (i.e. if you move 4 square it is as if you didn't move ct-wise).

Careless step (as I said, names aren'y my 'forte')
Move +2 and the user receives increased physical damage.

Jump get PA <Lancer> (at least it FFT style)
If the character jumps more than 3 panels (height) it gets +1PA.

Improved Rest <Geomancer?> (couldn't figure out a name)
You get 40 ct instead of 20 when you don't move.

Charge! <knight>
You can spend the action to move again (probably needs move -1 and/or jump -1). Better than teleport in the sense you can still move and act.

BTW I have a question:
Can CT get negative?
Well since it can get over 100, why not under 0?

May I suggest some evasion changes?
1 - Job's Class Evade affecting both physical and magical evasion.
2 - Job's Class Evade working against side attacks. (i.e. not only frontal)

The sprites are good!

Rune Knights's Hair could be darker, a darker silver is good.
White Knight could use a lighter armor and darker robe... What about yellow robe and a bright armor?

I do live in Brazil (Brasil, on portuguese) but I'm not interested on translating the game.

I must say the patcher is amazing. I really like to use it.
Here a couple of ideas for improving the interface:

1 - Allows the abilities to be displayed by several criteria. i.e. only show 0C "Time Magic" skillset, or alphanumeric sort, ability type sort.

2 - Allows a comment field on entries. So if someone changes a ability's effect a lot, it can be easily recognizable.

3 - Instead of "Jump to" on item section, use a filter.

4 - Be able to filter ENTD, to not display story scenes. OR even better allow to choose at will between random battle, story battle, story scene.

5 - Split Poach section in two half length tabs to be displayed at the same time.

6 - Allow Item attributes and Status Effects to display which skill/item is linked to them.

7 - Create a quick jump button from a Item Attribute or a Status Effect from an ability or item to it's entry on the Item Attributes and Status Effect tabs and vice-versa.

8 - Instead of just displaying the name on abilities and item tabs, show the  number of the entry if applicable i.e. "19 - Ice 2".

9 - Allow to quickly clone a unit on the ETND, so similar units could be created at a faster rate.

10 - Integrate the A.I. findings, into quick setup buttons in the ETND tab. (http://auritech.fantopolis.com/viewtopic.php?t=512)

Well as far as I know atm, no...
However, Chicken do last until next active turn IF it isn't caused by faith <10.
A good start would be comparing Jump and chicken statuses...

Quote- No more graphic glitches
Would that mean to be able to use more than 10 different sprites per battle?

I can see Lamias using:

Slap -> Standard attack
Tail Swing -> A better physical attack
Allure (or Steal Heart) -> A great charm move
Blowfish (100[0] needles) -> Ranged Fixed damage

I made Rods Wizard exclusive (as Knight swords are knight exclusive).
That works nice actually... Since give one more distinguish feature to Wizards.

One advice, while granting more options of equipment is good for the player, the AI isn't very intelligent when oit come to generate equipment.
I.e. I made archer be able to equip daggers, they end up using it instead of bows sometimes... (I were thinking about red mage in this case)

So, casting spell on attack, granting always spell, Ma bonus, strengthen elemental are all good bonuses for rods...

The Birds (Juravi family) aren't really necessary as well.
Maybe the Flans from FFTA would fit better (think about their role).
The birds are just a mobile ranged attacker (with feather bomb).
I believe no one would miss them :p

Chemists are good for their infallibility and fixed effects.
I assume a single status removal skill shouldn't fail... Most status, when inflicted, restrict or make a given unit waste 'at least' a single turn, if the skill used to cure it fails as well, that is a lot of wasted time.

As for remedy, another option would it remove status other items don't remove, which would be:
'Oil' (as if it made any difference)
Slow, Don't Move, Don't Act and Stop (which would need better chance to work as well)
Faith, Innocent and Sleep (a possible nerf to oracle, not really needed)
Charm and Invite (not really needed)
Well if it remove time magic effects, it might as well become like FFTA 'bandage' or need another name.

As for Esuna, the chance of failure seems fitting.
An idea that jut popped...
'What if cure could fail too?' "Would strengthen holy elemental make it hit more often?'

Let's see:
Monsters suffer from:
Low HP
Low Damage (or just too easy to avoid)
Low movement range (they never improve it)
Crappy skillset (skill work with little chance and/or are pointless)
Huge MA multipliers

I would advise making every monster tier have progressively more damage, movement and better skills than the ones before.
So, for exemple:
Red Goblin would have move 3 and 120 pa;
Black Goblin move 4 and 130 PA and
Green Goblin move 5 and 150 PA

Also I would advise to make all monster of one type, for example, goblins and chocobos appear mostly on chapter 1 and 2. Since breeding could make the player have better units (since monsters would now be useful) than the story battles...
I haven't played the sigma patch, but here are some of the things I did:
Morbol get MUCH more damage and regen.
Mindflare family get's water ball (since it doesn't use elemental skillset, it doesn't need water)
Skeleton family get more spell range (the higher the soul the more range it gets)
Uribo family get much more speed (can you spell nose breath?)
All Dragon's got a Scream based ability (so they become the king of monsters as they should have always been)
Ghost got much better chance to hit with it's touches and better speed.

I haven't tested using mp as monsters, but I believe one could even give more amazing abilities, like Raise 2 on a Treant, or Demi on a Ghost.
Let's never forget, it's pointless to make monster MA so higher than human's,  decrease it and increase skill's K values :p

Well, Knight Swords and Spear have damage of WP*PA*Brv/100...
So, the Chaos Blade would have and effective WP equal 40*0,72 (max brave) -> 28,8.
BTW, I would also recommend removing Escutacheon II and Javelin II. Such uber rare items are pointless to me...

I find math skill to be fun, and the AI can make a good use of it... Truth be told, if you make the actual 'Red Magic' skill set you've been all talking about the only 'Math-able' skills (I made it apply only to lower level black, white and time magic) it works kinda well...
Of course Math skill can still be used on enemies bosses even if you remove calculator class

One thing one must keep in mind when changing classes and weapons is that all of them must have a purpose and/or a special feature.

Let's look at the standard weapons for now:

Dagger -> Low damage, (speed may increase it as well, as if it would do any good)
Ninja Knife -> Good damage (speed based damage, which works good on ninja actually)
Swords -> Good damage
Knight Sword -> Amazing damage and status bonuses (damage based on brave)
Katana -> Good damage (damage based on brave as well)
Spear -> Better Range (damage based on brave)
Stick -> Good range, damage based on MA
Axes -> high PA, but rely on chance (good for battle skills I believe)
Flail -> Same as axes
Staff -> Reasonable damage, reasonable MA bonuses
Rod -> Lousy damage, great bonuses
Dictionary -> Good range (indirect), lousy damage
Harp -> Like dictionary, but less damage, however apply status
Crossbow -> Lousy damage, good range (anyone could use)
Bow -> Good damage and good range (archer advantage)
Gun -> Fixed damage, great range
Magical Gun -> Amazing range and damage
Bag -> Another 'axe' weapon, with some status bonuses
Silk -> Some extra range, low attack, great evade

If we look at the list we can see what are the traits a weapon can have:
1 - Weapon Power
2 - Range
3 - Damage Formula
4 - Initial/Always Status
5 - Inflict Status
6 - Inflict Skill
7 - Status Bonuses
8 - A combo with some skill (silk with weapon guard, battle skill with guns)
9 - 1 handed/2 handed/Can't be two handed

Can you say all weapons have a purpose now?
