Title: Replacing portriats?
Post by: DoctorKitsune on April 15, 2014, 03:15:23 am
Hello everyone! I just found out about hacking Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced, and I've been messing around with it pretty much all day. I've run into a bit of a problem though; I can't seem to figure out how to locate or modify the portrait graphics. Like I said, I'm very new at this, so I'm not sure if this is something that's even possible or not.

After looking around on this forum and several other places on the internet, the only idea I have as to why I can't find the graphics with a tile viewer is because they're compressed, but I don't have the slightest idea how to de-compress them. Am I on the right track here?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me!

They're compress with a compression that I have not yet documented. Needless to say, you won't be able to import new portraits for a while.
