Im new to hacking and this site...(question)

I recently sold my old crappy psp and purchased a go (ik, bad mistake). Since there is only the PSX classic version of FFT on PSN right now i would like to start making some custom saves.
However, I have NO idea how to do this. Any helpful programs and information I could use would be helpful. I've also taken an interest in some of the downloadable sprites I've found here. Will they, or any other hacked things, work on the PSX/PSN version?

I think that in large part depends on if a PSP Go is hackable at this time...  I think they've found ways to hack most if not all 3000s, but I haven't heard a thing about PSP Gos.

ok thanks for the response. If it makes a difference at all when i say hack i mean a custom game save... (like DL the sprite [somehow] into a game save and run the game with the game save....
