Settings are what are primarily focused on that way you can make very high quality if you ever decide to record for whatever reason.

I'm aware that this doesn't necessarily pertain to FFT Hacking per se, but I do know that a lot of people have asked me about it and thought I'd make it easier and just share with everyone all at once so no one asks questions later.

FFT Arena Season One AI Tournament Practice Match #8 Barren (Big Assault) vs Leif1991 (Shades of Green)

JC, Big Assault's quite the popular team to combat against isn't it?

No matter, was planning on putting up two more matches along with this, but stupid technical difficulties kept on getting in the way of making it (i.e. Camtasia froze at least a half a dozen times on me when editing).

Still uploading with ~13 min to go and has yet to process so give it a good hour (6:49 AM CST) and it should be up by then for sure.

In the meantime, I'm getting some sleep

Made some necessary updates to the patch and I'll list them below along with the .ppf of course...

- Lost Sacred Precincts (Map #54), Murond Death City (Map #69), Grog Hill (Map #81), and Church (Map #95) coordinates are changed to what they were in Season 5. And as a result of this, it's fair to say that Grog Hill's now a small map since the teams are so close to one another.

- Weather Effects are disabled meaning no more rain in fucking caves (More importantly no bonus to lightning/ice nor penalties to fire elemental attacks)! This also means that it should be daytime in all maps (No accuracy penalty to archers at night is what this does)

- Globe from Besrodio's house has been removed meaning there's more space to move around (Like S5).

If anyone has objections to these changes, please let me know and I'll make a poll to vote as to whether these changes will be implemented into the tournament or not.

1. Actual bug, which I unfortunately don't know how to fix.

2. Try reentering the team into the cell where it lists the competitors (Whether it's player 1 or 2, it doesn't matter).

3. Did you put in a secondary skillset for the samurai? If not, it bugs out like that and doesn't register the abilities under the primary skillset at all for any job.

Save your file through FFTastic first. After that, I'm guessing you'd need to convert it from a .GME to the psp file format, .SYS, somehow.

^, a lil late as in SSM edited his team before I recorded this match, which was roughly 24 hours ago so yeah. And btw, I got that pun you were making SSM, didn't cross my mind until I started editing this vid.

Two things...

1. FDC in the past 4 days iirc updated 15 teams and that for me right now with everything else is a little too much of a chore for me hence why there's only these three matches.

2. If the match seems slow when viewing in full screen, your CPU's shitty and can't process the data it's being fed quick enough, so to rectify this, just view it in the expanded screen and there should be no problems with "lag" at all.

Why is everyone discussing about making changes to the patch? It's not like as if these are going to be implemented and used for the tournament. Quite a few teams have already been submitted and nerfing "X, Y, and Z" will only ruin the build for some of those teams and they'll have to redo them all over again.

If people are just throwing random ideas out for post-tourney, then I've got no quarrels with that.

Actually, that match you're referring to ended up with a conclusion and one of the teams won.

But nonetheless, if there were a tie (I doubt there will be any), it would be safer to announce the team with the most units remaining the winner since it shows that they're superior in design compared to their opponent in a bo3.

Ah, my bad ET. But even so, playing @ 60 FPS is still very slow compared to 200 (Which is what I record at).

And dacheat, that's an entirely different spreadsheet altogether, you want the spreadsheet that comes with the patch aka the memory card generator.

One more thing, for emulation, you could always run a virtual pc, wine32, and use windows programs and emulators that way.

AFAIK dacheat, no.

Idk why you'd want to run Arena on your PSP though? It's incredibly slow paced @ 60 FPS especially with the lag in skills :O

Unless you mean S4 because I didn't see your name in S3 neither :o
