News:

Use of ePSXe before 2.0 is highly discouraged. Mednafen, RetroArch, and Duckstation are recommended for playing/testing, pSX is recommended for debugging.

Hi.

Where can I see the scrips I can import/open?

I see the option to Open project which requires a .tcproj file, I assume this will be a file I will be able to save and open once I import my set of scrips.  Import scripts requires .lua files.  Was wondering if you can point me to the right direction to get those .lua files please.

It is really simple. all you have to do is open your PSP ISO in Shishi, then find Ramza chapter 4 and change it sripes with the downloaded BMP file that you would want to use.  You would want to go to other sprites and do the same for Wildface and Unit.bin.  I would give you my hack, but I still need to finish editing the text for it to make sense.

Need assistance with a tutorial how to modify event test messages and assign WoTL exclusive items to stores.  I see that EntryEdit is easy and cool, BUT is PSX only, I almost cried. I am not having any luck with EasyVent Editor Super Perfect 2.1, pretty much everything I click throws some weird error and I have no idea what I am doing with it.  So, if anyone has a good tutorial I can follow for EasyVent Editor Super Perfect 2.1 I will REALLY appreciate it as I am not able to find any tutorials(or maybe suggest a better and easier tool I can use to edit event text), I really only need to modify like 4 of 5 events to finish my game.  Lastly, FFTPatcher v0.494 I see under items WoTL exclusive items that you can make them available in the stores, HOWEVER, you can't assign which stores they will be available at(so defeats the purpose).  Anyone has any information about how I can assign them to the stores they will be available at?

You have my appreciations for taking your time and reading.  Cheers!

Hacking/Patching Tools / Re: FFT Patcher (.494)

Two years later, hope it is not an abandoned project, but EntryEdit is awesome, any plans of making it able to load and patch PSP ISO?  I would really love this feature.

Hi Xifanie.

Thank you for the prompt response.  However, it appears to me that EntryEdit, with newest FFTPatcher v0.496 can only patch PSX, and I am working with PSP.  Is that correct or am I doing something wrong?

BTW This tool is PRECISELY what I am looking for, so easy to use, BUT for PSP and not PSX.  Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Are there any tutorials how to use this tool?  I am just trying to change event text from a few event IDs.  Pretty much getting errors with every button I press, don't know what I am doing and could use some step by step guidance about how to edit the text for events where Boco chocobo joins in the 120s.  How do I go about applying the changes I made to the game?  What other tools would I need?  Do not think it is like FFTactext where you can simply press a button to patch game....

Hello fine people.

I would love a good tutorial for Easy Event "Editor Super Perfect 2.1".  I really have no idea what I am doing and I just want to edit text for a few events here and there.  Every button I click on it throws an error.  I am trying to patch PSP WoTL.

I really appreciate it as it is all I am missing from having my perfect game.  Thanks in advance.

Help! / FFTEVGRP and ShiShiSpriteEditor problem
November 08, 2014, 09:57:25 pm
Hello Boyz and Girlz!

ok so there are some extra sprite characters in the game ShiShi does not have available and will make a BIG deal if they were available.  the sprites found in FFTEVGRP by ID: 09,08,0B  this are for male clerics and celebrant I believe.  They are free sprites for the taking but since they are not in ShiShi cant edit their battle screen.  any ideas what I can use instead to change their sprites? also where can I edit the chat text for the rescue Boco fight as well as the Rafa and Marak story chat? if anyone knows where that is located that will be great.  Much appreciate your help, my patch is coming out nicely.

I don't think you understand.  this is a WOTL psp ISO I'm working with.  and my version of FFTPATCHER does not allow me to edit enemy troops, I can add them to the treasure hunter move find item abilities, but can't add them to merchants or add them to units when editing ENTD battles.  I think it may have to do with my version of FFTPACHER perhaps there is a more recent version that allows me to do so.

Help! / equiping enemy units with WoTL items
November 01, 2014, 10:18:45 am
In my project I will like to equip units with WOTL exclusive items so people can earn them throughout the story.  However fftpacher does not allows me to equip them (they just do not show on the list of items you can equip) with the items if they are WoTL exclusive.  Any ideas?

Help! / Re: extracting error message
October 16, 2014, 09:36:08 pm
OK I solved the issue, I did a new extract of the iso and this time i just extracted fftpack.bin rather than the root and subfolders.  I guess it was either a bad extract initially from UMDGen or possibly it was an early extract i did earlier whith poweriso...who knows.  but clean new extract from UMDGen of just the fftpack.bin worked.  Thanks. :v/:

Help! / extracting error message
October 16, 2014, 09:23:47 pm
Hello,  I'm using FFTPatcher I go to psp>utilities>extracet fftpatck.bin> I browse select the SQ > PSP_GAME>USRDIR>fftpack.bin  then it gives me this error message(see image).  now it does extracts most of it, but I'm afraid it is not all of it and that may give me issues later on.  Anyone ran into this same error message and knows how to resolve it?

Help! / Re: obtaining the .spr & .bmp files
October 14, 2014, 09:42:29 am
alright I'm getting it, however when I try to extract the fftpack.bin using fftpatcher I get the following error message:  Could not extract file.  Make sure you choose the correct file and that there is enough room in the destination directory, any ideas?  I have 1.82TB of free space I doubt that is the issue.  and the funny thing is that it does extracts so I can mess with files but may not be a complete extract.

will you be able to provide the links to how to add a unique job class to the game, I'm interested in that as well.

Help! / obtaining the .spr & .bmp files
October 13, 2014, 11:23:58 am
Hello, I'm new here seeking some guidance.  I will like to export the sprites from psp WOTL so I can edit them to my own liking and add them later as special characters and maybe then do a quest for them if I get that far.  However I'm encountering a problem when following directions here.  When I used powerISO and CDmage all I get is the SQ-->PSP_GAME --->SYSDIR, USRDIR.  inside SYSDIR---> UPDATE, BOOT.BIN, EBOOT.BIN.  Inside UPDATE ---> DATA.BIN, EBOOT.BIn, PARAM.SFO.  Inside USRDIR---->movie----->all the movie files.  So I'm under the impression that there is a Battle folder and that it contains the SPR files for me to extract and mod and then insert back in, however this is not the case, I can't find them :(.  Any help?
