I actually don't find that nearly as strange, you can find that in a LOT of lore outside of Ivalice or video games in
general.

However, unless you wanna tie The Neverending Story to Ivalice... The whole book thing is a pretty O_o idea.

If you already only have minimal changes, just make a new tactext patch and save after each bit you do to isolate the issue.

A big part of modding is redoing things a hundred or so times, so it might be a good thing to get used to.

No worries fella. I actually have gotten 2 pms from potential spriters since I posted those 2 marks, and although well fell through one is still pending.

Also Choto even with as much as he has on his plate, has been helping out in the spriting department as well, and while Choto is a beast, he's also the Jot5 ASMer. So we dont want to stretch him too thin.

If you are asking if you can expand the limit of characters you can have in your roster, then no, this is not possible at this time.
No one here hacks WotL, mostly only the PSX version, and even in that we haven't gotten a way to expand the roster other than
by getting rid of Guests (for Roster slots) and using those.

Yeah that's what im thinkin. Which kinda like how when you call a dialogue in most cases if the unit isn't there,
itll show the chapter 1 ramza port. Or it could be something else entirely like them being derps and setting the portriat via either a event command or through attack.out.

Its actually not that wierd Toshiko, its come up in the past, I was just given the resources to fix it much earlier on. Which is why i need him to pastebin the event script and screenshot Gaffy's ENTD settings

You'd start by doing what I originally asked. Post the event script and SCREENSHOTS of THAT character in the ENTD.

You posting files don't help with teaching you what you did wrong. Especially when it's easier for me to point and say,
this = wrong. Needs be this.

I cannot even BEGIN to try to bugtest this... You haven't posted anything script wise for us to look at. I've been event editing for a long time now and what you said there doesn't make sense, simply because events don't work that way.

You need to put the script for the event in quest here.

And while you are at it, post a screenshot of the Unit in question in the ENTD.

You can edit all of them, the issue would be either you are editing the wrong version of the game (FFTP has PSX and PSP)
or there is another file with what you are looking for. Many of them have the same things in them.

Also make sure the resources.zip is in the same folder as FFTP. Since that Resources.zip is what FFTP reads from, there is literally
no way for it to display the original text if you correct replace it since that original text doesn't exist anymore in the resources.
