Palette Swapping Redux

Hey guys, I'm somewhat new to the FFT hacking, but right now I'm playing around with role playing. A friend of mine wants to play through the game with characters looking like characters from FFIV. So what I'm going to do is set the dark knight sprite on the custom sprites page to Ramza Ch. 1 and then use the Generic Male Samurai sprite for Ch's 2-4 (since I haven't found a Paladin Cecil sprite yet). The only problem is that I can't figure out how to tell the game that I want Ramza to have the 5th white palette for the generic male samurai sprite. I'd also like to replace Delita with a lancer (so he can be Kain) but give him the blue cape (2nd palette) instead of the red. How does one go about doing this, exactly?
