Editing Traps/Adding Traps

Is there a way to edit traps/add more traps into FFT PSX? I know in FFT PSP there are more traps, but this one caught my interest the most.

This next bit is an unused game element that is apparently still on the UMD.

A trap in the multiplayer Melee Mode called the "Summoning Circle," which would activate a random summon magick when sprung.

Love what you're seeing? https://supportus.ffhacktics.com/ 💜 it's really appreciated

Anything is possible as long as it is within the hardware's limits. (ie. disc space, RAM, Video RAM, processor, etc.)

<Raijinili> remember that? it was awful

Under the Move-Find Item tab, this is what I found.

Unknown

Unknown
Steel Needle
Sleeping Gas
Deathtrap
Degenerator

I've tried the Unknown ones, and nothing happens. So now, how do I go and edit those Unknown into these below?

Make Deathtrap to cause Dead.
Mine: Inflicts HP damage and the Oil status.
Mossfungus: Inflicts Poison status.
Cursed Stone: Inflicts Undead status.
Summoning Circle: Random summon magic.

But is that even possible yet with the current version of FFTPatcher?

FFTPatcher does not, and never will ASM hack for you. If you really want to do this, start by reading this tutorial. http://www.ffhacktics.com/tutorials.php?id=11
