New and having trouble

So im a big fan of FFT and i ran into this forum and was glad to find out there are people like me here. I've also found out there is a fan made FFT v1.3 which i would love to try but thats when the problem starts.  I dl the 1.3 patch and patched it to my clean FFT iso and when i try to start it up the whole thing freezes on my psp so im wondering if anyone encountered this problem?



BTW : I have m33 custom firmware but im really new to this

Did you dl the right patch? There is one for PSX and one PSP.
There's also a tutorial in the download thread.

I downloaded the PSP patch and i patched it just liek the tutorial but when i start up the game it goes into a black screen and stays like that for about 1 minute, then it shuts down.

Not sure then... does the game work unpatched?
Did you patch the '.iso' veersion of the ROM or the '.cso' version?
The patch probably won't work on the compressed iso.
Can't think of anything other than maybe needing the latest CFW.
