What if KO status wasn't permanent?  And what if Crystal and Treasure could only be inflicted on those with KO?

Is there a way to remove the death timer?

How would undead function with this set-up?

What if Vampire could only be set on units who are already Undead, and what if Vampired units only attack enemies?

What about this: at the end of the KO timer, the units have the chance of either a) becoming a crystal, b) dropping treasure, or c) returning as an undead?  Or perhaps only returning as undead enemies?  This could set up an interesting horror type tactics game.
Oh come now. That doesn't even make sense. How can flimsy paper possibly beat the raw density of stone?

FFT: T-Virus

A man infected with the T-Virus stumbles upon another Umbrella Corporation project, something to do with nethicite, summoning demons, or teleportation.  The man is teleported to Mandalia Plains just before Ramza arrives, and dies in Alugus' arms.  Algus slowly loses his mind, and, at Zeakdon, kills Teta and is slain by Ramza and Delita.  From there, Algus resurrects again and again, and infects others (including Ramza).  At this point, the War is no longer about the guardianship of the future king or who belongs on the throne; it's about survival.  Lesalia is overrun with zombies anyways, and the Royal family and Dukes Larg and Goltana are both dead, so it's infected Ramza on one side, with Alma keeping him alive with her magic; Delita on another; the Church, who of course blames Ramza and calls him the Anti-Ajora; and the Espers and their hosts who are enjoying the havoc created by the T-Virus.

Enough story time.  The reason I wanted to make KO non-permanent is because being knocked out isn't permanent.  You can wake up, weakened (let's say in Critical status).  But that just means all battles could become like undead battles, which is more irritating than interesting.  So, why not make a coup-de-grace ability  which can crystalize or treasurize a KO'ed unit?

The only problem with that is that it removes the benefits of Undead.  So you'd have to give Undead something else, like resistance to Crystal and Treasure, or the ability to randomly come back to life with Vampire status.  So you'd have to make Vampire useful, or at least less predictable.  So maybe Vampire should be controllable.

The limit for most maps is 16 units, 12 for others -- and 9 sprites total
-Is there a list of the specific limits for each battlefield?
-And is there an image archive of all the battlefields with their xy coordinates?

ENTD editing is confusing, I keep putting enemies where they can't be.

And is there a list of abilities that can cost mp and can have charge times that aren't instant?
