First of all, please don't type in all caps, that gets old really fast.

As for your question:  Lion Editor is a save game editor which is something altogether different than what is happening in the 1.3 patch.  I've only played around with Lion Editor a little bit, but I am 99% certain you can't change the sprites for generic characters using it.  The closest thing you can do is put the NPC's such as Celia, Serpentarius, Delita, etc. in your party.

When I first looked at your post I thought you were talking about sprites.  Now that I look at it again I noticed you spelled everything spirits.  Are you talking about the graphics or just the classes?

I'm assuming that because you have posted in the part of the forums you are trying to do this on a PSP.  If so, the first step is to have custom firmware on your PSP.  Next you will need to rip an ISO of the game.  After that use something like UMD gen to extract the bin file.  Next, you'll need to unpack the sprites from the bin using fftpatcher (which can be found here).  Then you can use the included Shishi editor to find the sprites you are trying to switch around (there's some tutorials on this in the custom sprite section).  When you are done doing your thing to the sprites you can repackage everything by first using fftpatcher, then by using umd gen.  Place the resulting iso in the iso directory on your memory card and enjoy.

You'd have to d/l it from somewhere if you can't make the back-up on your own. And, of course, due to copyright laws we can't tell you where to get it on the forum.

Alternatively, if you have a legal copy of the game AND custom firmware (which is required to do this anyway) you can access the UMD by pressing select in the menu and toggling the USB to UMD instead of memory stick.  The isos are stored directly on the disk.
