Something that tends to only happen within a network of my friends who are better artists than I am. As I told Superjupi I was a chef before I was an artist but I do look to find ways to improve when I can.

I do not have a Pixeljoint account, I rarely ever display my work outside of people in project circles. I suppose I could potentially put a few up here but I'd have to dig them out of my ever cluttered HD.

Has an animated version but I cannot post it. Based off Super Metroid's Phatoon for a fan game a friend wants to make.


Tokens to be used in another game, they're rushed because they were never meant to be perfect, just to get the point across.

2 years-ish old? Something like that. Done for a friend as a present. I am horribly un-pleased with it now, I never bothered to give the "Fire" illumination on the things flesh among several other problems.


Accidentally uploaded as a BMP, so photofail jpeg'd it. 2 ish years old as well, never gonna finish obviously. Was working on it on an oekaki.




3 or so years old. WAAAAY BACK WHEN I used to frequent a forum and SOMEONE (calling themselves Windclaw) was doing Megaman Zero edits. Well he posted that bland looking short sprite you see in the second image and asked for pointers, and other things. I whipped the larger sprite up, posted it ,explained what I did, how he could do it too and learn a lot in the process... WELL HE EXPLODED INTO A FIT OF E-RAGE and frankly I ignored him from there. There is a lot wrong with the sprite anyway, especially the muscle structure, it's overall too squished, the pose is too stiff and the arm muscles are just ALL wrong.


Present to a friend in their art style, nothing special.


Little metroid smilies I made 5? 6-ish years ago, I CHEATED on these for the transparent effect in the center, I must now burn myself in ritual repentance.


 Made the large sprite, decided it was too big to be practical, made a smaller sprite, decided I hated both, dropped them into a pit. 4 or 5 yars ago, so I used A LOOOT of references for it.


 First EVER attempt at doing sprites 100% from scratch. I was proud of myself.

I hate them now but they're where I truly began.

hey curu, i can think of no one better to do portraits, U know agrias original portrait? is there any way you can make her look more glamerous

like have some pearls in her hair, and the blue on her outfit white.

see she finds out later in my patch that shes the "princess" so i need a portrait reflecting that. the hair should stay close to the same as her sprite would only be recolored... you interested? XD probably too busy but still hehe..
