Agreed, poison is much better against Haste 2 teams rather than masamune teams. I also think for TL, that adding Death Sentence would prove to be invaluable. DS plus Poison would be great against those teams that run reraise, phoenix down, wish and potentially cursed ring.

Just a quick note on the Cursed Ring. Thanks to TL's elemental video, I noticed that Dark has nothing but absorb items, and Holy has only absorb or null items. Maybe to make the cursed ring more fair, would be to change it's absorb dark to null or half dark. and null holy to half holy.

Personally, I would lean to null dark and half holy.

I'd like to see Asura get a 33% chance to proc Oil. It might help Asura get used more often. I think of it as a nearly forgotten Draw Out.

EDIT: I want to put just a single unit here, just to get some feedback. This unit has a lot of element absorbs, that's the idea. I was going to surround this guy with 2 scholars shooting off any type of lore, which will be absorbed. Defense UP for physical defense, Counter Magic for magical defense. I'm going to guess that the AI will not choose a magic spell that the enemy will absorb, which means it almost has to cast a non-elemental spell. I THINK. The fourth unit I have not created yet. So, I just want to know people's thoughts.



EDIT 2: Also, I wanted throw around the idea of having some sort of a magic tournament. small scale, quick, and just something to do for fun. perhaps to serve as a warm up tournament to get people's minds rotating for a new team, or a divergent of an old one. Just whatever anyone/everyone decides, just wanted to put it out there.

Question. Dark Magician Girls, I have the scholar with distribute and all she's meant to do is shoot off shadow shades, does her own distribute trigger to heal the damage away that the mime takes from the shadow shade?

I threw on the Thief Hat and White robe to start. Speed and elemental resistance, and minus 4 MA.

Frogs casting frogs... frogs and bio 2's flying around everywhere... and lots of angry snakes... Good match! fun to watch. I saw frog proc for Bio 2 a ridiculously high amount of times. That was great. I wanted to see a frog get petrified, though...

Anyway, I changed the team a bit. I kept the wizard with just frogging, I know it's weird being MA stacked, but I like high accuracy frogging power. Removed Leviathon and blind/paralyze from the summoner, but gave her fairy. I want her to be petrifying those who have been frogged. Scholar stayed the same, to deal some damage and to proc more frog. and the Thief, I gave steal heart to, and lowered speed just a little bit. he's mainly for distraction, and keeping the enemy team off balance while these frogs and petrifies are going to come raining down. My idea is to bog the enemy team enough to where they're all petrified to lose, or frogged to be extremely weakened. damage dealing is a second, maybe even third priority, after making sure the team stays alive. They all have a status to proc, and they all have various resurrection as well. So yeah, just my thought about that team.

I'm happy to see these Duo Teams are actually doing well. Barren/CT5Holy's team came back to win, and that was a surprise. Me personally, am a huge fan of magic, and to see Reinoe's team get rolled over in the first round, I pretty much assumed that the unbalance of the the duo team would get them rolled over again in the second round. But I was wrong, and they came back to win the whole thing. Very nice to see!

I'm also really happy with my team, Magical Entertainment, going head to head against a team that has proven difficult to me before, and even had a magic defense boost. So seeing them overcome that, made me excited. GG though DomieV.

One thing about the Duo Teams, I can see it being a bit of a hinderence, making two units when you have no idea what the other two units, so the balancing of them and following regulations will make the team-building process a little longer to do. But, I really do like the idea, disregarding that fact. Hope to see more!

I have realized from this video that none of my teams are completely finished, and that they all have some sort of fix for important. Being the underdog here, by somewhat of a mediocre margin, I am just glad to have gotten the one win. From the team I least expected no less. I'm also glad these teams were selected, as I had given Silentkaster 9 to choose from. But I'm glad because these were teams I deemed to myself finished, and I see now that they are not, and I've realized they may not be ever.

That all being said, GG as always Silentkaster. I'm going to make my changes, and I expect more and more matches with you in the future!
