I had wondered... with small characters such as the children, isn't it more difficult to connect the arms? Since they are so much smaller. I would have thought that would be the one major hurdle when dealing with the children.

no actually, these are the real size of malak's arms exception being the walking frames in front cut directly off the girl to make sure you see all the brades.


i realized they were small and so his arms were a perfect match.
(realizing this, i can now re do the 10 boy's arms and complete him in no time)

also all i had to do was lower every arm frame by 3 pixels, the 10yo girl and boy are exactly 3 pixels shorter than the average human.

after changing them to the right color it already looks good without doing too much. and HOPEFULLY she will fit inside malak's sprite since he and cloud are the smallest human files.

So far for three days I've been working with the big sprite pack from the japanese site and with the help from Miroshi Beshima and Kazekasano. I've came up with this to get firion and the red mage to work.

not so much the white mage...I dunno whats wrong with her ;/ she was two kilobytes over the normal sprite size.

I refuse to play Final Fantasy Tactics again until I am able to do my FF6 patch! And, FFT 1.3 doesn't technically count as FFT: so there!

I'm pretty new with the stuff, and getting the portrait to work out and the rest of the sprite sheet to be corrected took a while.

better make sure you change the "singing" frames so we don't end up with a GGXX-esque bridget scenario... ;)

I think many of us noticed it its just that it's in Japanese so I myself think that it is difficult or confusing to use so only few use it. Just waiting for a translation :wink:  

but there's a guide that you created and it's still usefull anyway.

also.. i guess now people can stubmit their edited portions of eventchr.bin
ill have to make one for miluda as she hobbles away after you beat her at theives fort.

using balthier as a male dancer base is genius...just make sure he looks like a spanish dancer (you know, black tights, waist scarf, opened shirt, etc.)
