He is looking more and more like a hunch back for some reason, but the vest looks quite good.

more shadow and more hair might prevent that, as shown. I just dislike how most fft chars have a little bit of the hunchback effect tho. Their arms are high and a little bit too much backwards for my complete liking. To prevent myself from diting this too much, I did not change the hatlessthief's face at all at first, but apparently it's neccessary.

EDIT: Updated. Shrunk him a bit.

Drawing a character who's nose is a dominant part of their face without a nose is a difficult endeavor.

I think he might need some more defined shading. I initially tried to make him look kinda fuzzy, but I couldn't without making him look like a cat...
And I drew whiskers like that because that's how the summon in FFT looks like. May change it later.

Also: Draclau avatar to show that there's at least some precedent of huge headed portraits in FFT  :O

Keep up the good work Tea. You definitely need to lighten up those browns and use better tones in general. Hopefully he wont look too hunchbacked in the walking animations.

The blue on that clothing is too saturated and the sprite has little depth overall

@Kaijyuu
FFXII style moogles are more rabbitlike, with less pronounced noses, maybe that'd be an easier style to translate to FFT style?
example http://xprincesssakurax.deviantart.com/art/FFXII-Moogle-42740705

or, changing the portrait angle to a side view instead of a full frontal shot could help, as displayed in this picture

"Dave?  Are you there?"
"Yeah.  I can't get you through the cell now."
"You have to talk through the bratwurst from now on. I'm sorry. I didn't know it would do that."

The funny thing is the battle graphics in FFTA still look like classic moogles.
They modified them to look more like the new style moogles in FFTA2. =P

ok everyone, i have the SD3 angela sprite done! well, i should say that i had it done...it was supposed to be up last night, but i fell asleep and someone went to use my pc while i slumbered. they saved it alright, but that wasn't the issue...see, i usually have two copies of the same sprite up at any given time so i can use the other to copy/paste and as a reference. well, the cpu closed out the reference (with the UNDONE arms!) last, so that's what got saved...sheesh...

all that was left was to run it through the old version of shishi to see how all of its animations looked...i am quite upset, but i'll try to get it done this morning, if not, i'll have it up when i get back around 3p (with a preview of SD3 kevin

here we go. i wanna put one of kevin's poses up tonight as well. i could have used the original balmafula, but as you can see, it will be easier to do the portrait with a jenna sprite as base (when i get around to it)

i'll give a cookie to whom ever gets it first: what are the class names for both of angela's alternate colors?

so we get a cookie for guessing which colors you think are "good"?

ok then i'll go with archmage and grand divina for "good" alternate pallets for this sprite

dwib, i already chose two of my fave colors (grand diviner is great in-game, but is waaaay too bright for FFT)

you have to look at the sprite to find out which two classes' colors i chose to add to the sprite first (meaning the other may come later)

Nothing too fancy, just a quick edit to give ramza the onion knight design.

(I realized I missed one sprite when i applied the proper pallet. ><)

Probably fix up some of the stuff later since i did it in about 13 mins, so the arms probably aren't perfect in some places.

Good work. it's very interesting to see what Ramza would look like in other job's sprites. Keep it up!

Although for some reason, Shishi doesn't like me to import it.

Been a little while since i tried to import anything using it, so is there something i forgot to do when i was doing it?

It has 16 colours, kept the transparency,  was there anything else that needed to be done?
