hello, i am a newbie.. i have many question about Edit Sprites..

1. Can i edit sprites w/o using Photoshop?

2. Can i edit Lavian , Ladd, Alicia Sprites into like Beatrix or anything in http://ffhacktics.com/sprites.php

3. What is TYPE1 / TYPE2 ?

4. Where i can find full tools for editing Sprites (like Shishi, and the other material) ?
