Time For a FFT Cosplay! - The Beginning

Hey guys! Redworld here and I have some great news! I'm going to cosplay as Ramza from Chapter 1! (Except the wig is a short blonde one, but who cares. 8D)

Here's what I have so far as far as the tunic goes:
5 yards of light blue cotton fabric
2.5 (?) yards of beige for the cape
1.5 (?) yards of yellow
.5 yards of golden-ish color
.5 of white
.3 of green and red

As for the boots, I'll work on those when I have the money and time!

I also have a pattern I bought and I was told that I can change it to my liking. Seeing the parts and pieces, I'm hoping everything will be alright because I don't think I can sew it up from the middle!

Anyway, I'm doing the XL and it's for a male, so it should fit me with and without a binder and be comfortable. (I am heavy anyway!)

So now it's off to sew other stuff before I start this! Here are the pictures of what I have:

Hey guys! When I got home from Virginia, I finally was able to actually make some small progress on it! I had a lot of questions to ask the person that is helping me, but since she isn't here, I get to ask you guys! Ok, so in these pictures, I have started the basics, and though it doesn't have the sleeves yet, I still think it looks a bit off. :V You see, I used an XL size for men's and I'm starting to think it was a bit too big, though comfortable. I plan to hem it though but what do you guys think? I'll leave the pictures here for now~

I say yes.. take in a bit. Keep it somewhat cozy but not too baggy.

Also, I have a little cos-play esque article i'm working on, mind if I post a pic here later? It's a cloak I'm making.

Yeah, I was thinking that. >.< Then again, 1. I am a bigger person after all and 2. When I hem it, it will look smaller.
