I think there can still be a happy medium found between the grey/black and the dark brown, because I definitely don't like the red in the hair.

Well before I start fixing the pallette I might as well finish the sprite first.
Here's an update all main poses are finished and now im gonna start to work on the walking animations.

I love it, though the hair band looks a little low, shouldn't it be higher?

I think her hair band is in correct position.
Look at this picture, Cheetah.

Kindly upload the images to other image hosting sites. I can't view imageshack. Thanks.

Hmmm it looks a bit odd, but what will really matter is how it looks in the rear walking animation.

i think the problem with the hair is that the shading makes it suggest the hair band should be placed higher, but it is drawn lower. it looks out of place

This is exactly it. The hair looks like it's bound way above where the band is

Well i noticed the hair too after you mentioned it XD. I'm gonna restart her hair and it is being based on the archer's hair.
I'll put her belly button if i have room

Okay Ive been using the archer's hair for awhile so here's the rear walking animations. I tried to make a moving picture (whats it called XD) but it wouldnt accept any format i tried to submit. Also I edited the portrait the japanese made to fit my tifa but credit goes to the japanese for this awesome portrait...(oh guess wat I think i credited them like they dont do for us!)

Zozma: I don't know what arms to use but probably the dancer arms since theyre very easy to edit for Tifa's arms. But I'll post any changes I'll make to the sprite.

two comments;
1. Neck too long
2. Head too small

IMO

Sprite: Archer's head unchanged
Portrait: Neck was done by japanese and was based off Lettie's Portrait (Assassin)

Yeah the neck is way too long, I don't know if the head is too small though. I'm also not sure if I'm a fan of the archer's hair, just a little too puffy maybe?

No wonder the neck looks like crap. I wasn't gunna say anything. Well, I'll see what I can do. I won't need any credit once its done though, I'm just gunna try.

nooooo, try to take a closer look at that jap video of the ff7 style tifa.

THATS the kind of portrait to go for, this is kind of a fixed up version of the japanese one for ff7ac....
