Just copy/paste his head from Ramza to some Shrine Knight outfit, it's very easy.

Since this is the spriting section, we should see your attempt. :)
So, we can criticize and help you learn.

Thank you for the spr file but as i try to load up on shishi for the WoTL it comes up with error saying that the file is 64k and the max is 45k so I'm not sure how to cut this down

That is a lot of brown. It looks like you used Delita. I'm not an expert spriter, but I think it would be much better aesthetically with some color diversity.

The back views look kind of strange, and is it just me or do some of the sprites look misaligned?

no, I mean what I said. Perhaps if I said it in Japanese it'd become magically better for you. - philsov

They are misaligned not sure how to get them all back in original space and not sure how to edit the colour as i select from pallette and nothing is happening :s

Here I used an Old version of Shishi. . . May I ask this Elazul?

U use an Old version of Shishi to run ur patch and it works right? I also have PSP version of the game but never touched it.

if u use the New SHishi. . .. ( the one in download section of this forum) does it expand the ISO and keep the new Chars? (Luso, Balthier, Dark Knight, Onion Knight, Bremondt, Bremondt Dragon, Sword in the Stone,DarkKnightAlgus.)

anyway did check on the sprite size this should work now. . . Maybe this was wat Roly had a problem with too with my Reno. . .

If you do continue with Chapter 2/3 and Chapter 4 Shrine Knight Ramza I'll be glad to help and we can work on a concept. . . I too am a fan of this look

I took a crack at your concept, using more "Ramza-esque" colors, so to speak. This is 15 colors but I did the coloring rather sloppily, so if I wanted to pursue this further I'd have to change up a few things. His armor strikes me as more crystal than metal here, however... kind of like Soul Calibur 4's Siegfried.

In your sprite Elazul, head is placed wrong, it looks like it's two pixels too far in few animations. In one walking animation his hair is cuted. Wrong placement of head is occuring in singing animations too.

Hey all thanks for help and feedback. I am not sure how to align everything as i am just copy and paste to new sprite so i dont really know how to make it look like its original :S
Also Seushiro i use newest shishi for patching and the sprites appear intact the ones you mentioned. I did however use the old shishi and that allowed me to add the .spr files which were originally too big so that is strange.
I am wanting to make chapter 2/3 and 4 ramza as similar concept to your shrine knight maybe even enhance it in someway. I am using my time after work etc to try and improve my spriting abilities.

To align, just use the eyes as a guide. ^^
When you paste the head in the sprite, make sure the white of the eyes met the previous one. Always.
And dont use the same head for every animation, or the hair will lose it's animation (I dont know if it was the case with your sprite, just a tip).

Hmm this is confusing me lol ><.

I delete the head from the body i am keeping then i copy and try to match by pasting and moving it but the alignment is not right and i just end up cutting either too much armor off the sprite or head is incorrectly pasted/copied :s

The spriter's secret code for alignment is out. . . ^__^

I can't seem to open up full pages for the topics as it doesnt show the full content.

I had a go at changing the head of chapter 1 to chapter 2 and it was a disaster all i did was copy and paste but it comes up as another outline for the sprite :S

Seushiro your concept and Kupoe's look amazing far better than what i can achieve.

But i am still working on getting used to editing.
