IF I recall correctly, Sephiroth in Amano's original art had a rainbow pauldron on his left shoulder (or belt, or something...) all I remember is that this is being reflected in Dissidia and some discussion regarding it arose at eyesonff.

As far as I could tell his pauldron was relatively colorful in it.


Is how Amano originally wanted him to look and that seems to be the case with him in Dissidia.

Actually, Amano wasn't the character designer in ff7, he just did illustrations based on the designs he was given. Personally I always liked his illustrations better than the actual character designs used in any of the games. Judging from the video the pauldron isn't that bad. The belt I could do without.

Ok ive been workin on Aeris again. Im gettin pretty far. I made the bracelets smaller and i turned them silver like in Advent children. I also added a different belt based off the shrine knights'. Does it look better?

in my own opinion the belt made the sprite too busy. theres really no need for it here. i have no idea why they decided to add one later.

so thats much better, i think anyway.

I like it, but aren't the bracers yellow in the FF7 model? They look coppery in that pic, though.
